Tom Brady hasn't won a road AFC Championship game since '04.

Congrats on Mahomes for making a SB so early in his career.

He's recovering. I know I'd be going through all five stages of grief right now something hardcore if I was a Saints fan after that.

That was two blown calls on one drive.. The ref was right there! Staring directly at the play!! His head never turned around to look at the ball! He B Lined directly for my guy. And the Ginn one before that.. You couldn't be serious.

Be that as it may that was still a trash no-call that turned the outcome of the game. I sympathize with their plight, having borne the full wrath of refball before..

Bob Sutton fired. I love press man-to-man. It's by far philosophically my favorite coverage. But to do this over and over again without variation against McDaniels and Brady is suicide.

Refs not being good this year is just part of the game this season unfortunately. A lot of experienced refs have retired over the last 2 years. Not to mention, the NFL doesn’t treat reffing as serious as it should. Most of the refs basically work these games as a side gig.

Still seeing Saints fans complain about the call. The Rams didn't do anything for that missed call to happen. The refs have been bad all year. Why? See my post above. If anyone is to blame, it's ultimately the owners. They are the ones that fork over the cash to have Roger manage the league. If the league treated refereeing as a vital part of the game, maybe you'd have better referees out there making the correct calls in important games. The league and the owners want to be cheap and cut corners with refereeing? You get what happened in the Saints-Rams game, not to mention the other missed calls in that game and in the Chiefs-Pats game. The fans need to start putting the heat on the right people.

No.. There's bad reffing cuz of lack of experience.. Then there's intentional bad reffing.. Dude was about to throw the flag and his mans waved it off...

Call it a conspiracy theory but the evidence seems pretty conclusive to me. Scripted ass game.

the fans just want technology which is one of the factors in the downfall of reffing since it was implemented.

More replay is going to backfire on those fans that want it.

I used to want more technology in reffing, but I've changed my position. Things like replay tend to slow the game down and refs still have tons of controversial calls. I wouldn't change much about how the game is currently reffed, other than loosening the rules on roughing the passer and DPI. The refs themselves may need to be looked at and the NFL might need to make it a full-time position to attract better talent. But the game, to the degree it might need to be incrementally changed, should be made simpler or clarified where possible. There's too many considerations refs need to keep track of right now.
