Big or big... he was a disaster the past 1,5 seasons. I lost count on how many personal errors he made that either led to goals or goalscoring chances but every single Reysol-fan I know were very frustrated by him.

He's still young of course, and if he can get rid of these "black-outs" he might develop into a decent player. I always rated Nakatani as much better though, and it's no coincidence that Nagoya only started to defend properly after he (and Eduardo Neto) arrived..

One has to wonder what Kashiwa Reysol can accomplish if they have a senior team management similar to Kashima Antlers?

That's actually good news. Despite its huge investment, Barça B is very incompetent at developing players. In their top team, if I'm not wrong, the last player who came from Barcelona B is Sergi Roberto, and that was in 2013.
Kubo should instead go to Ajax or Porto, those are hands down the best places for players to improve themselves (just look at Militão, back then when he played for São Paulo, we supporters considered him to be just an average player, and after one season at Porto, he is already at Real Madrid). Hopefully other young japanese prospects such as Doan and Tomiyasu will play at Ajax or Porto as well.

That's not all bad, is it ?
Now that he has started to play at senior level, it would be a pity to break the dynamic.

It's not worth sitting on a bench, even with Barça's tracksuit. There will be enough time for him to return there later if he continues to play well.

In the meantime, why doesn't he go to Poland to play a little game next tuesday ? Need him.
