Reyes needs to play Dilan Ortiz if he plans to keep using the 4-2-2-2. Just like Valencia he has the physical attributes to disrupt a defense, tall, fast and a good shot, since Rivaldo and Sandoval despite being the most gifted technically are just not giving him a reason to start. At least with Valencia and him I know that they will be a pain in the ass for the defenders.

Carbonero was a disgrace and Vera has been our best player Alongside Cuesta.

Was just about to say that Carbonero is as bad a player at this level as I have ever seen.

Pobre Reyes...he goes from Bacca, JFQ, James, Falcao, Cucho, etc to 1 goal in 3 games. Haha, but to be fair these are U20s and Conmebol. I think Colombia had to move beyond this hurdle and at least get the win today. Tomorrow is a new day.

Venezuela scored too late and Brazil beat them. Given our situation and we're due a break in the next match day, having Chile and Bolivia not win their matches next would be ideal for us.

The team doesn't play that bad because we were the best team in all of our matches (including Brazil) but the incredible lack of definition really hurts us. Badly! I do agree that some of the boys are in horrible form, mostly the strikers, but as a team we do have some good plays and large number of opportunities. If we would have scored at least 2-3 goals from all of our chances per game, we would be with 9 points by now. I think that yesterday it was more mentality than ability and I hope that with this win we'll gain confidence for our last chance and in case we'll qualify, to do much better in the final stage.

I was afraid from Mier so much, that he proves me wrong so far and I'm extremely happy for him.
As for Yeiler Goez, how severe is his injury?

ugh, Brazil's loss puts pressure on our boys for their last match. In case Chile vs Colombia end in a tie, what is the tie-breaker?

    1.Goals scored?

Yes, we need to win. So instead of being with 9 points before Chile, we are very close to be eliminated in group stage. [emoji58]

******** man what a shitty situation that we've put ourselves in...whereas Venezuela is on top of the ********ing table. What a joke...

But I would like to think that we can manage a crucial win if the boys put their minds to it and not screw up the chances given....

We have a longer rest period.

Hope we win and then in the 2nd round the flood gates of goals opens up for us

I dont think Chile have enough to beat Colombia, the problem is that your fordwards dont score a goal to the rainbow... Its incredible how much this team generates and they dont concrete any of those chances...

They're at home so the crowd will def be with them. Both teams will have a ton of pressure but Colombia will be a bit rested. If we dont score in that 1st half than I think nerves will really start to take over. This Brazil can still lose and this Bolivia still has a shot, so that match will be great to see as well.

Colombian forward. Not really deserved. But now we're screwed. Let's see what these boys are made of. I feel it won't be the only red card in the game.

Reyes has to step up here. We usually attack with 1 maybe 2 players in the box. Too tepid. Gotta take a risk at some point.

Can't have a team trying to score with ONE guy in the box. We have very little bite in the final 1/3. They're not doing any better but they have the result and now 1 man in their favor.

WTF! we are defending with as many as 9 men behind the ball with only a few Chilean's attacking...there's not even a chance we can counter with this tactic.

It looks like rhat we won't score in 5 years also. Our worst match so far. In general it's one of the weakest tournaments that I remember.
