ESPN+ will have The Football League and Cup again this season. And we're on deck with a live match early in the season: http://www.espn.com/watch/schedule/?categoryId=5&channel=espnplus&startDate=20180811&type=upcoming Saturday, August 11th 9:55 AM Queens Park Rangers vs. Sheffield United (English League Championship) And some more Sky matches selected, which will be on ESPN+ as well. https://www.instagram.com/p/BlktGJXHf7p/
Video for all matches not on Sky, etc., is £115/12 months or £15/month. Audio for all matches is £45/12 months or £5/month. ...but the live streams are available through the QPR app, not through a browser. So... I'm wondering if I can get this on my big screen. I'm not paying to watch on my phone. I'd just as soon have audio. Any thoughts? https://www.qpr.co.uk/qprpluspass/
Seriously? That's really odd. I don't see that in the terms and conditions. Is there a place on the site that says app only? Whether you can cast from app to screen is dependent on the streaming technology and your TV set up. It's fairly straightforward with a video provider like YouTube and a smart TV with screen mirroring or AirPlay. But I doubt it's something the QPR app and streaming system would support.
It was at the bottom under the FC Union Berlin listing. Edit: now it's under the West Brom listing. "Live streams won't be available on mobile or tablet devices via a browser but can be viewed via the QPR App. Please download for FREE on Apple or Android." I don't know how "smart" my TV is. I'll pay them if I can watch on my big screen. I'll probably buy the audio if I cannot.
"Live streams won't be available on mobile or tablet devices via a browser but can be viewed via the QPR App. Please download for FREE on Apple or Android." I believe what they're saying there is that you can't watch via your phone's browser (e.g. Safari or Chrome app) but I don't think that excludes watching on your laptop/desktop via browser. Maybe I'll buy the Union Berlin match as a test
Another ESPN+ match Queens Park Rangers v Millwall Weds Sept 19 2:45 PM ESPN needs to update our crest
Dumb question, maybe, but is the club video live stream only? Or can I stream on demand later? During several games, I'll be out at my son's soccer game while the game takes place and was wondering if I can watch at my leisure.
Yep, replays go up on the Rs site https://www.qpr.co.uk/videos/highlights/all-90-minutes-bolton-v-qpr/ Not sure how long it takes for them to get up there though. For today, ESPN+ matches go to ESPN3 for replay streaming some time after the game ends. I'd imagine that would be early evening.
No ESPN+ coverage for the replay v Pompey. And because clubs can't stream FA matches on their own, there's no QPR+ video as well. Audio commentary will be available via the club site though (have to pay for a monthly subscription though, which is a fiver).
Some updates 🎙 Can't make it to #QPRPOR?#QPR fans can listen live with a @QPRPlusPass for just £1.— QPR FC (@QPR) February 4, 2019 Match will also be live on Talksport 2. Not sure about geo blocking though.
Wish I wasn't so swamped at work or I'd join you. Do you have a spot for watching + matches? I'm assuming Summer's can.
I would think so. I'll check with a few places in Rosslyn/Courthouse/Clarendon and pick a spot, since I don't think getting a group together somewhere is likely.
At Four Courts in Arlington. Alone here for this game. One person down the other end of the bar is here for the Sunderland game.
Can't believe we gave up that goal. Unbelievable. We've had the better chances, but some short corner nonsense beats us.
