    Schick for Lamela or GTFO

Seriously though we should try for Lamela in the summer and see if Spurs would sell him for a decent price. He’s pretty much the perfect winger for EDF

I don’t think he’s gone a month without being injured. That’s the last thing we need is more injury prone players.

I think it has more to do with England than anything else. He just doesn't have the build for that league. In Italy he was rarely injured for long.

Even a 75% Coco would be a monster under EDF. Still only 26 as well.

I don’t really get this argument, Coutinho and Lanzini have the “build” of children but they still play very well

Some players can just handle the physical side better than others. It's less about size and seems more of a case of durability. Some players' bodies just have a harder time adjusting to the physical requirements of England, and are probably more suited for Spain or Italy where there's less.

He performed reasonably well for a player at the time who was a squad player. He had DDR, Ninja and Strootman all playing basically week in week out. We decided to cash out to fill other options but I bet if we had the luxury of not having to do that he would still be here today. A young player who was always going to turn into a elite player as he matured.

So EPL has harder tackling than Serie A?

I tend to see it as in Série A teams are not afraid to just sit in their shell and invite pressure, making it much harder to find space to score whilst in England teams are much more open and the defenses are exposed if the midfield isn’t compact enough

No, although I do think players get away more with harder challenges in the EPL than in other countries.

It's just a league that leans more on the physical side than in Italy or Spain where it's more about finesse. I think all the top leagues have different learning curves, for England it's the pace and power that can be hard for players not used to it.

Being more susceptible to injuries is not bro science. There's plenty of studies showing genetics may have a pretty strong influence in that department.

Your idea that hes not built for English football is though. Lamela if anything is an athlete build for the modern game. Some of his biggest attributes is his direct powerful running and determination. The English game is perfect for him but he happens to be injury prone.
He had a very severe hip injury that almost cost him his career, an injury not just like a tear or a strain. Running on the grass in England, in Italy or in Spain wasn't going to make any difference with that.

Some people are stronger than others, tyes. Still not sure how athletes at an elite level and trained for sport specificity are unable to compete physically in a game where they are trained for endurance fitness. To me, seems more like a mental adjustment. And/or other factors like how well they adjust to their teammates and how they interact with their coach.

With Under out, you're left with SES and Kluivert only. If EDF is keeping the 4-3-3, they will have to turn to the market one would imagine.

If we're talking about the same thing, then I'd be worried about the ones that don't like to.

I think that is an exaggeration. I like him and his season is just starting, but at least defensively he has been poor.

I wouldn’t say great but promising. We made big investments in Schick and Karsdrop 2 summers ago that are only starting to pay dividends now.

Lets hope they both stay fit and continue to develop.

He just needs consistent playing time. Like game in game out even through the mistakes to get up to speed. He has the potential to be one of the best around. For me, he was always the most interesting of the signings from a few years ago. He can be a bull up and down that wing.

Florenzi can go back to being our backup between right wing and right back.
