Inglese, Grassi, Tonelli are not even here. Chiriches is injured. So it’s really Callejon and Ounas out for Lozano Diawara out for Barella Hysaj out for Lazarri Hamsik may want to leave in which we buy another midfielder like Traore. No way Barella costs over 50M. Chelsea was not even willing to pay over 40M. You want to win you do what Liverpool does. Get a few more good players even of you overpay to strengthen.
Livepool sells their best player and strengthens their 2 weakest departments. It's 100% possible to follow that model, it's just difficult now because we are at a stage where to start improving our weakest areas we will need big money buys
liverpool also have a sustainable money flow to pay the world class players they bring in. If we want to win scudetto, I dont care who we sell as long as its not allan or k2
The fact of the matter is, it's very rare for this team or any team for that matter just swap out half the players they own for new ones. Barella isn't worth more than 50 but Cagliari appears to want 50+. Apparently they are offering Cash plus Ounas and Rog. I think Ounas should be kept, with steady playing time, he is way better than Callejon who has been invisible the past month and a half.
Hysaj will go and a new right back will come. We are looking for a new attacker, whether Kouame or Lozano and one or two wingers will leave. To really strengthen we also need a top midfielder. We can easily afford it if we dump all the players that are on loan or players we don’t need. I am not saying it will happen but it is not unrealistic.
Hysaj gone for Lazzarri is probably a lateral shift in terms of quality but a gain because we'd be getting double for Hysaj. Barella seems to be too expensive for us like I originally thought, Lozano for 45mil idk if we can get that deal done in the winter, I can only see Lazzarri coming in and Hysaj leaving in this winter market, maybe we sign 1 or 2 young guys and keep them on loan from wherever we got them from and maybe we sell Rog but I can't see any major moves in the winter, which is completely fine tbh.
Allan and K2 bring much more than talent to the field. I agree that both are indispensable. Build around them.
Different positions, and Lavezzi was definitely worse than Hamsik imo. I can digest Cavani but Lavezzi lost so many balls due to individualism, and then he left to burn out quickly. I even remember comparing statistics with someone who had the same idea in mind back then, and in the end, the other party had no other choice than to concede defeat. But honestly, I don't really care that much. In all fairness, I don't really like most of the football players these days. Too much ostentation for my taste, and Hamsik is no exception. But in terms of performances, I really do think he's one of the best in our team, and he has been for a long time.
Maybe. However, my memory tells me a different story. But memory is fallible, so the impressions thusly gained may not be of much value. No matter, I will drop this subject, I have no chance of achieving anything here, that much I can see, and I am not really very passionate about your opinions after I have expressed what I think. I kind of think that it is too early to even hold arguments such as these, for it's very disrespectful to all those who have participated in this new journey of ours so far. I still maintain that we should not judge our players so harshly concerning the performances in the last CHL game, as we were up against an opponent of brutish strength on top of which it was also an opponent which is one step ahead of us. There had not been such criticism before we lost to Liverpool...
I heard that the last time we checked he was on his way to Mordor, and that place really was kind of similar to a volcano. Dream on. How have people even come to hope for a miracle like that? What is the source of such rumors? The only one that I can think of is the Ronaldo-Messi rivalry, but I do not deem it plausible.
Lavezzi came up against big teams. The first game against man city in 2011 he was our best player. The second game he was just as good, cavani was exceptional though. Hamsik never truly made a stamp the way those 2 did in that group stage phase, altho I think he did well vs villarreal
I know that he was trying to be funny, but I had heard and read discussions of other ppl who actually deemed it possible. The 'Dream on' part was aimed at those ppl rather than Sacki. And Sword, you mean one of those games where Hamsik hit the goalpost? I remember, I wasn't impressed by Lavezzi that much back then. It was fun watching him, but his efficiency wasn't so great, in my opinion. But I notice it's a trend in football to evaluate those players who entertain the crowd with their style rather more differently than others. Especially younger people are prone to that attitude or approach, be it age or mind. Anyway, having a player in mind who has repeatedly adjusted to a varying set of players averaging approximately 10 goals per season as a midfielder, with I don't know how many assists and build-up moves, speak volumes for me. Damn, going back to those times in my mind, I really kind of miss Campagnaro...
Messi is coming lads, Dela will make it happen..... even though he isnt much of an upgrade over callejuan
Callejon was impressive under Benitez.Gabbi was very good too when he played as a rw under Rafa I still like Callejon's style. He works hard and all teams need that type of a player.
