Apparently, BBC 2 showed this last night in the UK (they were legally allowed to after the inquest was over). An extra 6 minutes were added to the documentary to bring it up to date and to include the inquest.
Update: please note the online stuff in the article- don't want to get anyone in trouble: https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/new...niMxKGjbb832U1FE5qn_M091dHB9hKHuMgZlp-uBRh0k8
I've always felt that the thing with this is that you can't reasonably have expected the officer(s) in charge to reasonably know what would happen from their blase analysis and inexpertise during their reactions on that awful day - but to not immediately recognize (and seek to recognize) their flaws in the aftermath of a tragedy when it was their flaws which caused the tragedy, is for me, the unforgivable thing. To have, in essence, not felt sufficiently bad about making it all worse, so as to try not to make it all worse is the real crime ..... and one that maybe a few people should pay for with some jail time ....
