The last season was already mediocre and Weigl just hasn't impressed whenever he was given the chance this season, often he even became a liability. Favre deserves a part of the blame (what is he expecting when he throws Weigl into the Bayern game with barely any playing time otherwise). So far, the success is on Favre's side but I fear about the long term. I thought Witsel would be a short term solution and it was always my wish that Weigl and Dahoud could grow together over years to reach their potential. But Delaney and Witsel just work better together. Adding to that the situations of Philipp and Götze (both showed promise last season and are badly misused, now, in my opinion), then yes, it's going to be a problem when viewed from a german perspective.
