after making his pro debut in CL, looks like Goller will be in the squad for this weekend, chance for 1BL debut. (also Kutucu)

J.Eggestein is out vs Dortmund because of fitness but Bremen coach says he's in contention to be in XI on Wednesday.

seems like Nagelsmann will give Amiri and Geiger the break after just returning from injury vs Man City. Seems like he felt Amiri wasn't yet there, so they will train.

    Dutch 2nd division
-Arweiler provided his 2nd assist of the season in a 4-1 win for Utrecht II.
-Frey off the bench scored the winning goal and assisted the finishing off goal in a 4-2 win for PSV II. Now at 1 goal and 3 assist in 12 games for the DM.
-00 GK Novakovic played his 2nd consecutive game for Roda in a 2-1 win. It's also his 3rd game in all competition for the young GK.

    2BL
Lucoqui with an assist as AB beats Kiel 2-1.
    https://streamable.com/yhqkr

Serra scores his 7th goal of the season in a 2-1 loss to AB.
    https://streamable.com/mdgv4

-Vagnoman got 15 minutes in a 2-1 win. While Arp is a scrap minute player these days only playing 6 minutes.
-Duisburg's 00-Schmeling made the 1st team bench for the 1st time but was unused.

    Danish Superliga
looks like Ochs is playing LB now, played there in a 2-1 win.

    Eredivisie
-Akkaynak played 7 minutes off the bench in a 3-0 loss, they were already down 3-0 when he came on. Given the loss he was better off not starting anyways.

-Cyborra talks about Heracles, his German coach Wormuth and his desire to establish himself as a regular. Bild also confirms that Schalke have a buyback clause on him.
    https://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/...schalke-rueckkehr-als-ziel-59041916.bild.html

with Goller starting to get chances in Schalke 1st team, I would like to see Wiemann and Kubler either get a loan or just leave in Winter.

    1BL
Uduokhai got his 2nd consecutive game as Wolfsburg win 2-0. Faced some youth in S.Rhein and Muhl.

    U17 (only 2 games)
    X1: Mirchev, Borkowski, Aydin

    U19 (only 1 game)
    X2: Aydin
    X1: Schlax, Talas

    02-Lemperle played 84 minutes in U19 today, was his U19 debut in a 3-1 for Koln U19.

    DFB Junior Cup
RB Leipzig U19 and Freiburg U19 advance to the SF.

Goals by: Herrmann, Hartmann, L.Kruger, Hermes, Leopold, Risch

    RL
Boyamba (8th), Bisseck (2nd, was also the winning 1-0, massive goal for Koln II as they climb and get closer to the safety zone)

    3rd Liga
    Scorers: Barylla
    Assisters: Marseiler

    2BL
Hartel with his 3rd assist of the season to finish off the game and make it 2-0 for Union.
    https://streamable.com/qpk4r

Vasiliadis with his 5th assist of the season to make it 3-0 for Paderborn. How long before he starts to attract 1BL interest?
    https://streamable.com/jf1ql

Carstens scores his 1st of the season in a 2-0 win. He's a 98 playing his 1st 2BL season. At least we are starting to see more players eligible for the next U21 cycle.
    https://streamable.com/dfa7e

-As usual, Bochum with 4 youth players on bench including 01-Holtkamp and they only use 1/3 subs which this time was to Saglam who got 15 minutes in a 2-0 loss.
-Jaeckel seems to have established himself as a starter while Raum got 6 min as a sub.

    1BL
-Mittelstadt started at LW and scored to make it 1-0 vs Stuttgart in an eventual 2-1 loss.
    https://streamja.com/LwR6
-Beyer played the full game as a CB vs Hoffenheim and kept the clean sheet in a 0-0 draw along with Neuhaus in XI. While Mayer was unused bench player. This time Beyer played as a cb as his previous starts were RB.
-Dardai got 10 minutes while Dajaku/Aidonis/Ernesto was unused bench players.
-both Teuchert and Serdar started in a 1-1 draw vs Augsburg who had Richter in XI. Shame that Goller was the player dropped from the 19 man squad.
-Maina got the entire 2nd half vs Bayern while Muslija got 27 minutes.

these are mostly players that don't always start games or currently don't start games and are still mostly bench players.

both Raffael and Stindl are out for 2018 and seem they will miss the last 2 games before Winter break. On top of that Villalba can never stay fit is also currently injured.

Plea and Drmic are the only strikers left. Wonder if Musel (or maybe Steinkotter) will get 1st team chances for the last 2 games. Also Drmic has an expired 2019 contract and hasn't played or even made 1 squad all season. There were also reports about Gladbach might sell him off in Winter. Whether that plays into Musel (Steinkotter) getting chances who knows.

Czyborra played 28 minutes off the bench vs Eredivisie leaders PSV and got a straight red in the 90+2 minute...He gave away a PK which Blaswich saved but they still scored off the save.

well hopefully he learns from this game. Believe he's played very close to 200 minutes in Eredivisie and close to 400 minutes including Dutch Cup for an LB.

good to see an LB who's eligible for the next U21 cycle get game time.

Hitzlsperger seems satisfied with Stuttgart's youth work on top of Aidonis/Dajaku another name that they seem high on is 02-Egloff. We've mentioned him numerous times this season and the last.

Egloff was doing so well in U17 that they upped him in U19 where all the teams are 00-01 players. He's like the rare 02-onwards in U19.
    this season in
    U17: 10 goals and 6 assists in 13 games
    U19: 1 goal and 3 assists in 5 games

on top of that after being ignored by German youth NT for awhile he's part of the German U17 Winter camp, after his current form. His only previous call up (not counting on calls) was back in German U15 where he scored 1 goal in 1 game back in May 2017.

not only that but the young Egloff has played a couple of Stuttgart 1st team friendlies this season while only being 16 (only turned in late August).

Stuttgart U19 and Dortmund U19 advance to the SF.

Goals by Egloff (and we just brought him up.:D), Bakir, Plewa, Osenberg

    3rd Liga
    Scorers: Wolfram
    Assisters: Tietz

    2BL
-Florian Kruger can't stop himself as he provides yet another assist in a 2-2 draw.
    https://streamable.com/kd1nd

Has scored or assisted in every game he's played this season, his 1st pro season.
1 goal and 3 assists in 4 games this season.

-Mehlem scored his 1st of the season as Darmstadt score 2 goals in 2 minutes for the comeback down 2-0. His was the tying goal
    https://streamable.com/u00fl

-it's a shame that Kaya doesn't even get chances even though he scored on his pro debut and only game against 2BL leaders Hamburg. 2 games later and Ingolstadt are struggling just as they did before and still pretty much using the same players. Hasn't made any squads since the Hamburg game.

I do think it's interesting Stuttgart's production of forwards. Just from recent times, Gomez and Werner.

now Hottmann, Dajaku, Kramny, Hummel and to a lesser extent Grimm.

speaking of Stuttgart, II player 98-Niklas Sommer moves to 3rd Liga club Sonnenhof on Jan 1.

David Hummel had two serious injuries in the last two years, become an unkown now

Kramny is still growing, his back has some problem (not injury) because he has a sudden growth spurt. But we will see how he progresses. I loved what i saw from him earlier this season before his back issue

    Gladbach vs FCN
XI: Beyer, Neuhaus, Muhl, Fuchs and Goden

Bench: Musel (making his 1st ever bench for the 1st team in competitive game), Knoll

at this rate Beyer could be upped for the next U21 cycle given that he's starting games in 1BL while being a 00, has played CB/RB.

also here's hoping Musel gets a chance to make his pro debut.

Musel didn't come on to make his 1BL debut. Well hopefully he gets chance during the season at some point.

while Aidonis makes his 1st XI for Stuttgart, seems to be positioned as RB.

seems likely it's because of the injury that he didn't play. These things always suck for sure.

Beyer/Nehaus have also been good in this game. 2nd consecutive clean sheet for Beyer playing CB. Next up is the big game vs Dortmund.

Goden/Fuchs/Muhl looked decent out there. Goden only lasted 46 minutes seems between yellow card and having fitness issues was subbed out.

    FA Cup U18
Glatzel assisted the winning goal for Liverpool U18 in a 3-2 win over Portsmouth U18.

    Dutch Cup
Akkaynak played 22 minutes in a 3-0 win as Willem II advances to the next round.

    Coupe de La Ligue
Kehrer was unused bench player as PSG advance to the QF.

    English League Cup
F.Nmecha makes his 2nd bench appearance for Man City 1st team but once again unused bench player. As Man City advance to the next round.

    1BL
-Rexhbecaj played 11 min while Uduokhai played 18 min.
-Aidonis wasn't too bad as an RB, needs to work on his crossings for sure, played 80 min. Not too bad given that he's primarily a cb.
-Dajaku replaced Aidonis with 10 minutes to go. Have to say, he had 2 interesting moments where it felt that he needed to be more physical but we are talking about a 17 year old. One of them where he was close to dribble/muscle his way pass 2 players and was very close to have succeeded too. Both of these instances, the kid was 2 timed too.....Still a good learning curve.
-Dardai and Baak were unused bench players. While Mittelstadt played a good game, also starting for Hertha was Torunarigha and Maier. I hope Dardai, Baak and Kade (when fit) will get decent chances this season. Of course Hertha is filled with prospects in their Academy/reserve, will be interesting to see who gets chances and who will make it.

I was thinking they would call up either Pieper or Kilian. Not surprising they went with the older option.

it's interesting that both of them have expiring 2019 contracts and TM has them slated to leave Dortmund II in Summer.

so Pieper could end up like others who only played 1 game for Dortmund and that's it.

recent rumors link Havertz, Maier, Tah, and Weigl (not youth anymore) as being linked with Barcelona.

    meanwhile
    Dutch Cup
Novakovic played the full game as Roda took Ajax to ET and Penalty shootout. His only goal conceded was a PK and then Ajax scored 4/5 in shootout.

    1BL
-Serdar played 34 min in a 2-1 loss to Bayer
-J.Eggestein played 77 minutes in a 1-1 draw vs Hoff while his bro played the full game. From the midfield/attack, J.Eggestein looked to have been one of the better players for Bremen.
-Muslija played 74 minutes vs Freiburg in a 1-1 draw while Maina subbed in for him and played 16 min. Their teammate and captain Anton gave away the PK which Waldschmidt scored.
-Waldschmidt scored his 5th of the season in a 1-1 draw. Teammate Koch played full game while Stenzel lasted 74 min.
    https://streamja.com/0e5n
-Baku returns from injury and played 13 min in a 2-2 draw vs Frankfurt
-Klostermann had a good game vs Bayern played the full 90. While Mai and Majetschak were unused bench players.

Seems like time is running out for Majetschak (and even Stierlin) as RB have no more Europe and are buying midfielder in Winter like Adams and Haidara (who should still be back towards the end of the season). Which pretty much tells that they should leave the club as soon as possible.

meanwhile both Sanches and llsanker were red carded today, so this could be a chance for Stierlin/Majetschak and some Bayern midfielder for the last game of the pre-break

Hack, Jacobsen, Kauper have all been linked with Winter loans. Hack was even linked with potential contract extension and 1 and half year loan. Burnic seems headed out, while Nubel has drawn plenty of interest to leave.

Itter is complicated since if Rousillon is injured he could get a chance but at the same time Labaddia played Uduokhai as LB recently when Rousillon was out for 1 game. And Gerhardt can also play there so loan might be for the best. I don't see Wolfsburg letting him go permanently.

we'll see what happens with Otto in Winter Camp and whether his role their is a decent one or whether he's irrelevant.

Feel bad for Knothe and the kid has a dumb agent. He's only there to fill in the 12 German players requirement and club trained one. Unless he extends he can't go on loan as his contract expires in 2019. Besides once Frankfurt bought the 99 French CB N'Dicka who's only experience is Ligue 2, tells you all you need to know. If he was relevant they wouldn't be buying a player from the same age group and same position. So yeah he needs to leave. Beyreuther with 2020 contract should at least get a Winter loan

Stierlin/Majetschak should have followed Abouchabaka on loan, RB seem very unlikely to give anyone experience themselves. Maybe Nagelsmann will be different or not.

there are also Kubler, Wiemann and maybe even Goller (loan???). Would also say that there are a lot of players (a lot) who have no 1st team prospects no matter how they do in RL that should go up in Winter. Just look at 96-Hanslik who's headed for 30+ goals but seems unlikely to get 1BL chances but is helping Wolfsburg II get promotion playoff.
