He has always had that first few steps explosiveness.....get him in open field and there are only a few in the world that can chase him down.

It was wing-mid on both sides. Was dropping rather deep defensively and wasn't central. Not really a great usage of his attributes of having a nose for goal but not exactly being fleet of feet. But he caused some disruption with his hustle. Second best to loose balls. The yellow card was harsh as he was close to winning the ball and tried to sidestep to avoid it. Couldn't really get on the ball with Werder's lack of penetration.

He didn't seem to have it at the end of last season and at some points this season IMO. Was banged up though I think

    He had it last season.

Go find the highlights against Bayern, where he left Kimmich on the ground.

Good composure in the build up for the 3rd, even if it was off. 5 minutes isn’t enough though... disappointing.

Still shouldn’t sell him now, but it does look like he’s gone in summer at the very latest. Maybe it’s an agreement for a summer transfer.

I still don't understand why Bremen's subs didn't enter at minute 60 or thereabouts.

Bremen had pressure early in the half, then Dortmund withstood by playing back. At that point Bremen had no real answers. Then 25 minutes later, the subs enter.

Dortmund shouldn't, but he should leave ASAP.

Seems like what he wants to do, otherwise I guess he’d have signed an extension by now?

I think he wanted to keep his options open.
