Pretty hard to score the winning the goal off the bench...when you start a match

Laca's fitness may be a factor on him being on the bench. He did pick up a little injury w/ France. Or more likely the bigger factor is tactical/formation.

I'm fine with him going with roughly the same line-up. As long as he pays attention to not burning his main guys out or inducing fatigue injuries.

G man with a couple of very bad and sloppy possessions early.

Yeah Guen does look slightly jumpy/nervous. But I think that's just what you get with him. And he does show for the ball better than just about anyone on our team.

Great save by Leno followed by a team-wide nap. Shameful defending.

Herreira was offside on their free kick goal.

With no CB's on the bench, we have to resort to Lichsteiner. And probably that will force us to a back 4?

Meanwhile Holding is on a stretcher and so we have to pray that Kos gets match fit real soon. And/or Mavropanos? But who know about him.

Edit: Or a January buy? ;) [He says watching Mustafi with yet another stupid foul while going to ground]

That should have been a second yellow for Matic.

Now Ramsey down with some sort of ankle injury. Is he the next to drop? He's up but in some significant pain.

HT 1-1. Cue Laca in for Ramsey at 2T

Edit: I shoulda said cue Mkhi... he's warming up during HT. I guess Emery has a more conservative plan for today. Maybe we'll see Laca replace Auba at some point??

Kola has taken some sort of knock. But apparently not bad enough to change the 3rd substitution: Laca for Iwobi.

    Laca scores(?) a goal! 2-1

But picks up some sort of knock in the process.

If we survive this match without further injuries it'll be amazing. (Mustafi is looking lame again too)
