Well, if Brugge want any chance to advance (which admittedly is astronomically low), they’re going to have to come out and play some and should be opened up as they tire from bunkering all game.

Brugge had 27% possession and Ethan had one save (the only shot on goal by either side so far). I can see Leko telling him, "play as if you were playing for your country, da?"

Reus cross tries to find Pulisic in front but hits defender. Ensuing corner well taken by Pulisic, headed way over by Akanji.

Puli continues to deliver the perfect corner.

CP better finish his chances or Reus might stop setting him up.

    Pulisic draws yet another foul
This pass was a little behind him which allowed the defender to knock it out, not on Pulisic.

Pizcek is playing so high it seems like he and CP switched position

Finally a little nifty Pulisic dribbling action! Leads to a bad cross by Dahoud.

BvB's final passes in the box had been terrible today.

Whole Dortmund 10 within 45 yards of goal briefly. Brugge is really packed in, especially for a must-win game.

Pulisic tries to break down the whole defense on the dribble - and it almost worked.

Gotta admit it's spectacular when Puli does his rhino thing.

When he finally finishes does little runs in the box, he'll become a little closer to Messi like level.

Horvath's distribution is already on par with Howard's.

Paco had been quiet all game.

Now I am more convinced that he's a SUPER sub type of guy.

Pulisic through ball to Reus toward right post a step too far and Reus a step offside.

I would love to see Sancho come in for Paco.

Move Reus up top and slide CP in the center, just for the last 20 min.

Brugge has that guy Nakamba marking Reus almost out of the game. They figured the best way to nullify this Dortmund is to take care of the brain.

CP has been fine today. I'd rather see Dahoud off for Sancho.
