The highlight of the night was definitely the kebab shop my buddy and I stopped at on the walkup to Wembley. Cheap and deeelicious.

Some of these moves predate NBA free agency which began in 1988, with Tom Chambers, but that didn't stop players from forcing trades to teams they wanted to join. The Lakers, in particular, have a history of picking up all stars that forced their moves to LA. When Chamberlin arrived the Lakers already had Jerry West and Elgin Baylor. Jabbar joined a mediocre Laker team that eventually added Magic and James Worthy. When drafted by Charlotte, Kobe refused to sign and forced a trade to the Lakers where he joined Shaq.

What was you take on the free agency moves when Lebron and Chis Bosh joined Dwayne Wade at the Heat?

I didn’t like that tbh, but it wasn’t as bad as kd

I hate collusion and I hate how supposed stars go to be with other stars so they get an easy ride

Look how people are talking about kd, no respect. It’s not just about rings, it’s about skill, heart and determination for me

Barkley will be remembered more fondly than kd for example

Barkley's and extrovert, KD is an introvert. So unless Barkley's opinions piss you off, he is going to be remembered more fondly; and since he has a sense of humor about himself, its hard to be pissed off at Barkley for to long. In addition, as the round mound of rebound, he was an undersized big man, an underdog. In today's NBA most two guards are taller than Barkley.

Re skill heart and determination. The offensive skills are unquestioned, but I'd also argue that playing for the Warriors has made KD a more complete player. He's become a better defender and a better passer. There are not many other teams that would have brought these qualities out.

He’s playing in a team full of elite defenders

They switch everything and he is huge

Defence should be easy for him with his length

Green is not having it. One of those 2 will be gone at the end of the year and maybe klay

As opposed to having your professional life determined by which team chose you in a draft?

I don't blame Durant for choosing to play for the Warriors. It must absolutely suck to live in Oklahoma City.

I believe there was a number of teams courting him at the time

Point is, he has not created a legacy people will care for or remember

The same Barkley who chased a ring (unsuccessfully) by joining the Rockets? Or the one who basically forced Philly to trade him to Phoenix (which had a much better team) for cents on the dollar?
    That Barkley?

Yep, he was also a twat tbh especially in philly but the rockets move was when he was old and fat

He did take Phoenix to the finals like kd did. Maybe it was a bad comparison

Curry and Green are both out injured and until last night the bench hadn't provided sufficient help. If everyone is healthy and Cousins offsets their problems playing against big centers, I wouldn't count on a different finalist in the west.

True, the west is probably the worst it has been for years especially now the rockets are generally poorer than last year

They had to keep ariza and avoid melo

Watching this Chelsea defense against Spuds actually is making our own defensive issues seem minimal. Abysmal performance....

Really the first time in a while I've seen Chelsea play today--and they looked terrible.
