I RSVP'd and they emailed me tickets. So if you are planning on going or think you might go, I would make sure you RSVP https://www.eventbrite.com/e/columbus-legends-reunion-soccer-match-tickets-51592283910 Also suggest adding that link to the locked party detail thread

I know. This is the first time I've really been able to get excited for a game since last year's playoffs. Given the circumstances around the team, and all. Now I'm actually starting to get worried. This is turning into such a party, and such a celebration, that I'm starting to suffer from a condition I've termed "Actually Have to PLAY" syndrome. I felt it before national team games, and before MLS Cup. It's when a game becomes more than a game. It's a reason to celebrate. It's a big party. It's something to get excited for. And then, as kickoff approaches, you start going "shit -- we actually have to play this game." I guess it helps that the actual game is against Minnesota United.
Yeah, I'm sure you won't be turned down if you *don't* RSVP, but it helps give them an idea of how many to expect.
My belief is that if Ggg has been able to keep them as focused as he has with the off the field lows of the last year, he should be able to do the same with the highs. We've earned some celebrating time, enjoy it, and shun all anxiety for once. As you said this is more than a game.
Now comes the fun part for an outdoor event. Checking the weather every day, multiple times to see what might be going on rain and temperature wise. Like today. See how long we can do our Halloweekend day.
Fortunately, this only affects the fans. I doubt that you'll see Artur and Pipa out in the parking lot slamming beers and celebrating that saving of the Crew.
Saturday weather looks beautiful. We are far enough out when I start hoping that weather “moves” into Sunday.
By the way... The Weather Channel's forecast for that day now says "AM Showers." That means hopefully, we'll be good for the tailgate and the game.
It's a week out. This is Ohio. As Mrs KG always reminds me, it will change 5 times between now and then....
Don't like the weather forecast? Change the source! Google says Rain and AccuWeather says it will be great. So right now I'm on team AccuWeather
