its making me sick to see Barca want a crack and they get one, and Real Madrid failing again and again in the last 4 years since we got James....no crack no spanding like we got FPP problems all over again..

 

After last 4 summers:
RM: 3 CLs, 1 LL, and who knows about this year
FCB: 3 quarter-final trophies, 2 LLs

We might've done poorly in transfer windows, but definitely not as bad as them.

 

After we lost CR7 we had to bring a replacement with the same level

 

Surely you mean in terms of a big “name” and not in terms of actual goal production, same level as CR7 was for us?, 45 or so goals per season?, this replacement does not exist at the moment, which is why no matter who comes we still need goal production from more players on our team as a collective, even with Ronaldo’s output we struggled to win La Liga, it worked when we had more players sharing the goal load like James and Morata.

 

IMHO we really need a midfielder who can score goals.

 

Among names that were rumored the last few months:

- Pogba (more rumored to leave for Barca though).
- Savic has a good ratio: 131 games with Lazio, 25 goals, 21 assists. Serie A is kind of shit though. Still not convinced he is that good.
- Eriksen seems the most obvious for goals/assists.

 

James?

 

James last season here was his worst, primarily playing from the bench and still scored/assist as much as Benzema.

 

James is a much better player than when he left. He runs all game, he defends. presses. It's a thing of beauty.

But I also feel like he is also more of a head case. I don't know why, but he seems so damn angry all the time. Only seems happy with Colombia. With Bayern, he plays like an angry man

 

For me it's Eriksen, James or Pogba. I'm not a big fan of SMS, every time i see him play he seems very, very lazy. Also, he has been very mediocre this season, perhaps it's just form but i guess we'll see till the end of the season if he can keep up those numbers.

Hazard basically took a year out of football whilst playing for Mourinho.
