Anyone having trouble accessing the app to download tickets? My phone says no connection, yet all other services are working fine.
To anyone having trouble. This is my workaround. I went into my account through a desktop and sent a ticket to myself. I then logged in to TicketBastard and lo and behold, all of the tickets were there. In other words, the DC app is just a front door for the TicketBastard service. I should have known that, but I'm old and retired.
I just logged in to United's TicketMaster account manager and sent the ticket to myself. That worked. It is now saved in my wallet. [EDIT]@griffin1108 beat me to it.
I sent an email to Chris Hull alerting him to the problem and left a VM for my account manager as well. I hope this is isolated, but if not, what a cluster******** it will be.
You can also log into your account on your mobile browser and add the tickets to your wallet from there. This will be a major pain for everyone if it's not figured out soon.
And playing well Also... no comments on the unreal Rooney goal?!!! I know not everyone is at the game based on looking at the stands.
After Hamid went down, I thought he was done. He really didn't move well for the rest of the first half and had to be assisted down the stairs to the lockeroom at halftime. In fact, I thought I saw Hamid signal the bench in the 43rd minute that he was done. Worra was warmed up and ready and spent the entire half getting loose and practicing goal kicks. When Hamid came out for the second half he was the last one out and I thought he was headed to the bench until he put his gloves on. Hope he's fine -- he looked much better in the second half. Maybe he got one of the "vitamin B-12" shots famous in North Dallas 40. As for the game. A Rooney golazo pure and simple. Acosta hits the post, NDL heads the ball off Asad. Which brings me to ----- Yamil Asad. That was the worst game I have seen him play. He and Mora couldn't get in sync and his defense was beyond atrocious. Instead of the simple pass, he tried the fancy dribble or flick on. The cherry on top was his backheel after he was sent in alone on goal in the 85th minute. If I was coach, I would send him a message, next game he's on the bench and Arriola and Segura on on the wings. Segura doesn't have Asad's talent, but he's a smart, savvy player who really doesn't put a foot wrong. He's forgotten more soccer tactics and sense than Asad has learned. Which brings me to Stieber. Ben clearly disfavors him because the Segura sub was for him and not Asad. Stieber just isn't a game changing player. At a $1 million annual salary, he's got to be that, he can't just be a complementary piece and part time starter for that money. He's gone at the end of this season. Finally, this offense really misses Paul Arriola. The last two games and the Chicago game when he played out of position, the whole attack looked sluggish. Neither Asad nor Stieber can or will make the type of runs that Arriola makes. His return Sunday will make the whole attack more coherent and fluid. I thought Durkin got better as the game went on. At times he's too timid, but he does read the game well. Moreno is better at this point and I think is a better complementary player to Canouse. Canouse, however, is a beast. 4 points clear of Montreal for the last playoff spot with 2 to play. When Audi Field opened in July, I never in a million years thought I would type that. I guess that's why they play the game. If DCU makes the playoffs, I think the defining moment has to be Rooney's mad dash and tackle of Will Johnson and the cross to Acosta at the death to beat Orlando. After that, the team has played with confidence and a bit of an attitude. Thank you Señor Wayne, I doubted your desire and ability. I was wrong.
Agree on Asad. Why he passed up that shot late I'll never know. As for Hamid, he was limping through the second half. Adrenaline might have seen him through tonight, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Worra Sunday.
