I believe Valspar jersey sponsorship is over after this year. Any news/rumors for the next jersey sponsor?
I am sure the crack Front Office are all over it. We have a: Owner and Chairman, Chicago Fire Soccer Club Vice Chairman and Co-Owner, Chicago Fire Soccer Club President/GM COO Vice President of Soccer Business Chief Financial Officer Senior Vice President of Sales and Revenue Vice President of Business Development Senior Manager of Finance and Administration Senior Director, Partnerships Director, Partnership Marketing Senior Manager, Partnership Marketing Account Executive, Partnership Marketing Senior Coordinator, Partnership Marketing Senior Account Executive, Corporate Sales You would think that one of them would have thought of this. Of course, we would say the same thing about "Toyota Park" and they kept the name for something like two years after the sponsorship ended, so...
Well, we did hire that one Scottish kid, so maybe (no, not Shaun Maloney, some youth coach or something).
I'm pretty sure Valspar doesn't want anything to do with us. It would have took time and effort to remove all the TOYOTA signage. That's just not us.
Would be a thing of beauty. I think MLS has removed the provision against alcohol on jerseys, but would the Heineken league deal hinder this?
Doesn't start until 2020? https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2018/10/24/mls-announces-new-sponsored-jersey-patch-beginning-2020

I'm curious to see what they do with the Morgan sponsorship. I know the league has been averse to alcohol on the shirts because it makes it harder to sell them to kids (school have policies against that), so I wonder if Captain Morgan does get a spot on the players' shirts but not on the jerseys sold to fans.
