Me and you have been waiting for the 0-line to play well. I saw the first half and wagner was playing nasty as ********. Pocket was really clean but that is the patriots.

Yeah. Now if only they'd stop splitting carries between Kerryon and Blount and give Kerryon the keys we might have something interesting. I like what I'm seeing from Kerryon, not gonna lie. Still early days though.

I was wondering if we were going to see a Kirk rant from you this early, but I’m sure one will be coming at some point. I was able to see the first half now and yeah, the line wasn’t good, but he was still very careless with the football and let the rush rattle him way too easily. That’s always been an argument of mine about him. I’m very curious to see what will happen on a short week vs a good football team this Thursday.

    Redskins vs Packers thoughts:
    • 1st half was good on offense. Playcalling kept Packers off balance with pass-run mix and a number of deep shots down the field. We did have a drive that was sustained by a few Packers PI calls, but those calls were legit. I hope that encourages Jay and Alex to go down field more, but it's hard to trust these WRs.
    • Defense was solid, but I am a bit concerned about our run defense. I think front 3 has been alright in the run, but the linebackers are doing a very good filling gaps at the moment.
    • Jay Gruden is going to lose his job if he keeps going ultra conservative every time he gets a sizeable lead. The second half playcalling was pathetic and predictable. He called 6 pass attempts. I do understand that you want to drain the clock and keep the ball out of ARod's hands, but you also cannot do that being predictable. He runs the ball every single first down. There was no creativity dialing up PA shots in the second half. He is lucky that the defense has improved a bit from prior years because if we had those defenses, we probably would have managed to blow that game. We also need to feed JReed the football. No excuse he barely touched it in the second half. You can dial up safe pass plays and get him the ball.
    • We did get hooked up in the second half with calls and plays that went our way. The Clay Matthews play is the obvious one. Randall Cobb was hooking us up with drops and a fumble. Lance Kendricks was wide open down the sideline and dropped one in the breadbasket. The scoreline probably should have been closer than what it was with Jay going into full choke mode.
    • You justify making a 3rd round selection on an o-linemen but you pick a o-linemen that can't get on the field because he's way too raw. I know I have beaten on this horse before, but it's a luxury we do not have. Scherff went down vs Indy and we didn't have a viable backup. Thankfully, he returned vs GB. Moses went out with a concussion and Nsheke came in and proceeded to kill us with penalties. Oline depth has been neglected in FA and poorly identified in the draft. Lauvao is a bum, but we can't get anyone to really replace him. Since he's hurt, we have to play a bum at center and move Roullier to guard. Is there seriously no one on the start at guard that would be an upgrade? Two seasons ago, we got John Sullivan off the streets and barely played him. Then he went to the Rams and he's playing well and became their starter. The FO is swinging and missing. You bring in bum WRs to workout and sign, but where are the o-linemen? Surely there is someone out there that would be an upgrade.

@Emperor Adriano I was surprised by your aggressiveness in picking Dallas over Detroit in this spread pod. I understand the skepticism over Patricia, and I share it, but has Dallas really shown you anything to be above Detroit at this point? Dak is poor, he has a bad receiving corps, Fredrick is still out, and Detroit can still put up points.

He’s a radio guy with some media credentials/access and tries to act like he’s the authority on any sports related topic he talks about. He’s simply obsessed with Kirk and goes out of control if anyone shares a different opinion on him.

This is basically going to go on all night lol

Just look at the comments to see all the fanboys saying he’s held every play. They obviously watch no film. Yeah, he got held twice in the second half in the GB game and drew two penalties, but there really haven’t been any other clear holds outside of those. And look at the scrub that’s holding him since Bulaga came out of the game injured in the first half after Ioaniddis drove him back into Rodgers for a sack.

Looks like Zimmer got taken to the shed coaching like Jay Gruden, but on defense. The same sort of big game tepidness and lack of adjustments. Obviously McVay gets credit and it's easier said than done to stop his offense, but you'd think Zimmer could muster some better resistance. Zimmer's performance last night reminded me of Jay's vs the Colts.

Kirk played well and wasn't to blame tonight. But as soon as I saw that the Vikings D wasn't putting enough resistance and he was on pace for 50 attempts for the night, I knew the Vikings would lose. Maybe I am being harsh, but I felt like Kirk could have done more on the forced fumble if he had better pocket presence and situational awareness. It's 1st and 10. Franklin got a good jump from the get-go and Kirk didn't step up at all. Yeah, Remmers was getting shoved back, but there was enough of a crease for Kirk to step up and either take off or throw it away if nothing was open. Instead, Kirk does what he normally does and panics and tries to get the ball out quick.

The Rams D is overrated IMO. Outside their two tackles, two corners and Joyner, they aren't even average at the other positions. Their entire LB corps is suspect (including their outside rushers). Luckily for them, the O is so good that they can afford to get in a shootout and win.

Recife. Yeah, sounds like it’s a possibility but there has been a lot of flip flopping between Haddad and Ciro.

I wasn’t expecting a win but to lay an egg like this after the bye is inexcusable. Jay should get canned.

Freeman has been really disappointing. I have been finding some success with the combo of Hill and Brown in the 12 team but the RBs have just struggled. AP is getting yards, but relatively few TDs, and he's on and off with injuries. Drake and Gore yo-yo and I haven't been successful in guessing which one is going to go off. McCarthy is still an idiot and doesn't get that Aaron Jones is clearly Green Bay's best running back. Gordon has been slow to mix into the rotation, and is probably still a week or two away from really being reliable. I think it'll start to hit its stride eventually, especially once Gordon is fully there and getting great snap counts, but I don't think I have the time to hold on until then.

And then the 16-team league is just a complete disaster. It's just really terrible. Moncrief is a dud, as is Robinson. ASJ was terrible and then got hurt. My gamble that Benjamin was going to be a target monster in Buffalo was bad. And Carr is also just sad at this point. It probably isn't salvageable.
