the pay/subscribtion network, Telekom, showed Sat's game between, but the DBF site didn't have any games, nor don't have anything listed for the upcoming weeks.

    so as the old Jim Stafford song goes;

all good things must come to an end, it's the same with the great Wildwood winds

They show them on multiple online platforms though... SPORT1, DFB home page, and Telekom Sport.

I'm pretty sure SPORT1 shows various youth wnt tournament matches, the domestic league and cup, with some of Wolfsburg's UCL matches.

So if you can't see the matches through DFBtv or Telekom, try the SPORT1 stream.

And yeah... I can't see highlights for the matches featuring Bayern or Freiburg, so I'm guessing they were the two live matches you couldn't find.

The best news for Bayern in this match was seeing Rolfö make her first appearance of the season, as their team for all it's talent still looks needlessly unfinished to me...

Hendrich in a CB role while Demann sits on the bench, Islacker starting ahead of Rolser, no place for Roord.. what's happening...?

And Wolfsburg appear to have slightly adjusted their tactical approach this season too, no longer allowing their FB's and CM's to make reckless forward runs ahead of the teams main attackers, it now seems to be all about the high press to try and force opposition turnovers of possession.

thanks for the link! if you go to exactly the 21.50 mark of the video, you can see the speed that Hendrich got, she's easily the fastest player on the pitch. Use it correctly & she can be a terror! Otherwise a lot of sloppy play from BM from a coach who doesn't seem to get much chemistry or know what to do with his over stacked team.
    ...........................................................................................................................

in the meantime, Essen & Potsdam battled it out for what most likely be 3rd place in the league. Well, highlights at least show that it became a running battle but why on earth the Potsdam coach pull his defenders so far up knowing that Essen got 3 attacking NT players who can counter so swiftly?

1st goal, Schuller blows right by the well established horror of Kiwic's defense. She tries again this time with Elsig, but JoJo gets her with a last ditch tackle. Dallmann gest the best of her though with the final goal

And that's all you saw during this match lol. You saw Hendrich running quickly, and now you feel that's the defining factor of her potential to benefit any team she plays for lol.

Seriously... you have to understand why it's so hard for me to take your analysis of various German players seriously, when you just formulated a potential German wnt 11 where you thought it best having Hendrich in a RB role...

CM is clearly where her skill set will shine brightest for club and country, with the dumb thing about her time at Bayern, currently being the way both Hendrich and Magull have been misused as new players forced into roles their new team doesn't need them.

Elsig’s really good, but obviously she can’t do everything out there so when she’s not there or she fails to do defensive work (standing high and winning the ball), Kiwic or Rauch are not there to help her

So Bayern.... Am I really to believe that Demann’s going to be benched while Wenninger’s playing? I watched the CL game and Bayern lacked build up play coming from their defense

Magull’s looked really strong for Bayern imo, outcompeting Roord for the role as their creative player these days. Hendrich is getting match time, but as a CB, RB or LB when she clearly has the attributes of playing in the midfield - especially her speed could help Bayern’s midfield where Skorvankova or Lohmann should be benched

1-1 tie at half; the TP coach apparently listened to me & didn't start Kiwic. TP started with a blistering press that got them a goal & a failed PK. But soon tired with a ridiculous poor back pass by Rauch that got BM back into the game.

BM started this time Rolfo & Rolserv instead of Magull & Islacker(who look disappointing last game vs Zurich) but kinda surprised keeps starting Bereensteyn, Lohmann & the eastern Euro player when you think he has better options

Lohmann has been great for Bayern imo. A bit slow maybe though, but looks like Leupolz in her better days. I'd bench Skorvankova for Magull maybe in the 2nd half...

Didn't see the first 15 minutes though so guess that I missed a lot

    MVT watched the game?

    Pajor and Harder though

Stephan Lerch is really interested to extend Gössling's contract with Wolfsburg btw
Dickemann extended some days ago, but injured herself the same day against Atletico where Wolfsburg won 4-0...

Did I really see Magull play double forward with Rolser though in the second half?
No really this Bayern team looks like a mess these days where Wörle can't figure out his best team..

missing or not getting a chance to play in this game from Bayern Munich; Benkarth, Schweers, Leupolz, Behringer, Laudehr, Islacker, Roord, Vonkova

so don't know how many are still injured but Worle's training methods must b dangerous.

btw, lil Leo's defensive/watch.............was last defender when TP scored/gave away a pk(that TP failed to score on)

I was about to write that Leo's been really impressive the last games until I watched the first fifteen minutes now lol. So yes Wenninger and Zinsberger messed up before the first goal but Leo didn't look good and could easily prevent it. Guess she was slightly surprised when neither Wenninger or Zinsberger cleared the ball. Penalty situation is all on Wenninger lol, she took her arm out and pushed the Potsdam player

The problem using Lohmann and Skorvankova sitting in the teams double 6 roles, is their both clearly offensive minded players without either of them holding the ability to defend or control a match through their positioning and passing.

So I don't understand what the Bayern coach is thinking right now, when he's brought Magull - Hendrich to his club as a more obvious balanced/mature CM partnership; and this knowing Roord's impressive early season form as the teams CAM, has her contributing goals and assists for the team in ways she simply wasn't last season too.

See, it's like Bayern just recruited players because they could, not having any clear direction in where these new players would best contribute to the teams improvement...

I mean Demann and Wenninger are being caught in possession all the time now, because their mid-fielders aren't creating good passing options whenever the CB's split apart. But instead of fixing the CM, Bayern's coach chooses to change the players in every other position lol.

Meaning instead of facing Potsdam with a simple adjustment like...
    Maier - Demann - Wenninger - Lewandowski/Gerhardt
    ------------ Magull - Hendrich --------------
    Däbritz --------- Roord ---------- Beerensteyn/Rolfö
    ------------------- Rolser ---------------------
Bayern continue to appear like a team in constant transition, as Wolfsburg with their obvious weakness at FB have still improved year after year, just doing things correctly around a weaker squad, to eventually create the far superior team.

Wolfsburg has the better GK for now, but Blässe - Fisher - Doorsoun - Maritz, compared to Maier - Demann - Wenninger - Schweers, shouldn't end with Wolfsburg having such a better defense, when it's Bayern who have the better FB's, and Wolfsburg only having (arguably) one genuinely elite CB.

Neto - SBG vs Skorvankova - Lohmann isn't a contest really, but Magull - Hendrich would instantly improve Bayern's CM to a level it could easily compete with Wolfsburg.

Leaving the comparisons in attack even more strange when you know Bayern's offense has regularly equaled or outperformed Wolfsburg for the past few seasons. But even with this accomplishment, I'd still say good luck trying to predict who's starting in Bayern's attack each week lol.

on the 2nd look, it's hard to say who the foul was called on, it didn't help either that lil Leo fell right on top of Rauch, lol/but Hendrich got embarrassingly nutmegged in one play as well(but at least it was against top quality in Huth)

guess TP sat Kiwic in favor of a 3-back, but what you think of Elsig performance? She miss judged a couple of tackles, but only when she came a little to high & was at least well covered for her mistakes by her team mates, but otherwise strong defensive performance when playing deep. TP should of won this game if it wasn't for that stupid back pass by Rauch
again with Hendrich, it would be fine to make her CM(regarding the NT) but this the position that Germany has an abundance of. What's missing are strong defenders & a top striker. Hendrich is one of the very few that can play other positions decently.
this was another game where Maier looked rather sloppy at the defensive end. If she can't handle the likes of Diekmann & Rauch, how you think she can handle the best of the rest of the world?

Commentator said that Wenninger used her arm to pull the Potsdam player down and she did lol. I know you dislike Maier but truth is that she's been Bayern's best defender this season and solid for the NT. She is guaranteed to start lol

About Elsig; in a system where so much of the defense doesn't rely on her, she'll be good. Great performance yesterday regardless but yes she's really exposed on the 5% she doesn't get right

... So tell me, where are all these quality CM options for the wnt..? The last time I checked, Germany's wnt was still using CAM's like Marozsan and Däbritz as DM's to the complete detriment to the team, and their own performance.

Germany's wnt selection process could actually try and test players around the league, doing what other elite football nations have had to do whenever they aggregate their teams from a very disparate number of clubs around Europe.

And this is where I continue to completely disagree with views on players like Goeßling or Hendrich being wasted as defenders, when Germany have simply wasted the work done by it's junior teams to find itself in a long period of stagnation.

Just look at how long it had to take before legitimate international level defenders like Simon, Schweers, Demann, Elsig, Doorsoun, had any realistic chance to play for the senior wnt. These players still exist at various clubs now, but the it's the wnt selection process continues to be horribly narrow, or biased.

Oh, so Maier was expected to control at least two opposing players, all on her own... tactically, there wasn't meant to be a wide AM ahead of her providing support...?

Every defender will have serious issues constantly facing 2v1 duels, but any ideas on Maier's potential replacement being formulated on the events vs Potsdam, seems pretty amusing when it was this same match that saw Hendrich get beat 1v1 rather easily on more than one occasion as a LB lol.

But we're not going to acknowledge anything like this ever happening with Hendrich in the various games she's been used as a defender, because it's Maier who struggles within teams that lack cohesion, and real mid-field structure...?

Even Schweers and Demann have struggled at times trying to play as defenders within this Bayern team too, but your criticizing Maier for an inability to consistently win 2v1 duels, or chase back at high speeds to cover the spaces vacated whenever she joins the attack; yea, this sounds fair....

Rall should have been given her chance vs Austria, but wasn't used because Peter (for pointless reasons) started ahead of her.But look around the league and use the junior teams for a little inspiration, and you see there's other FB options....

Names like Rall, Pankratz, Störzel, Hechler, Kleinherne, Gerhardt, Wilde, Linder, Siems, become potential senior team FB options, having impressed as FB's at some time for club or country at the junior levels.

So while B.Schmidt, Maier, Blässe, have been the main senior RB options who've come, gone, or persist, lets not pretend there aren't credible FB options available for the national team to provide genuine competition within either RB or LB roles.

injuries aside, you want to add Hendrich(as well as Popp) to the all ready crowded CM, where if injuries aside, you got your choice of..........Maro, Dallmann, Magull, Dabritz, Schweers, Kemme, Leupolz, Goessling, Laudehr, Huth.

If you go with 5 mids(in lieu of an xtra fwd)tha you absolutely got to have speedy wingers as your outside mids(and this is why Horst had used the majority of the time, Huth & Schweers ala Canada & Iceland)

btw..............next NTgame will be against Spain, a very very possession oriented team. makes me wonder why Horst wouldn't want to try the latest fad, the 3 back?(as it did work for Potsdam the last game)
