Best of the best is not so true and hard to judge with a new cycle starting.
players missing that are injured or just recovering from injury that would normally at least get a call up...
Izzy, Lerma, Mina, Mojica and Fabra....As Faryd would say, I would take any of those 5 over Aguilar, Machado, Roa, Didier, H Palacios...like duh.
Selling or not, there is a huge drop in quality on that bench. One thing is to give Liga players performing at a high level every week and another is to just pick some names that have no reason to be with the NT. It rewards them for mediocre play. If we're opening up that can of worms, than yes, lets bring in Rodallega, Darwin, Pabon, Quinonez, Seba Perez and a host of others.

Seba Perez was awesome when he was called and at Nacional. Boca killed his career. Then being an idiot and rejecting good teams in Argentina and Brazil to go to mexico was the final nail in his coffin especially with all the guys popping up.

Boca didn't kill nothing. He played there, although not consistently. But he was also injury prone in Argentina. Including bad one which he needed around a year to recover. Boca had nothing to do with this.

Sebastian Perez was the first one playing at Boca. Had a bad injury and recovered after a long time but Boca have a ton of top players so they weren't going to wait around for him to pick up form again. He fell down the pecking order and never recovered.

also, if im not mistaken he is playing consistently in Mexico now.

He just joined, we'll to wait a bit more to see if he's consistent.

Damn that is a good line up minus the LB. Murillo I am guessing Oscar so good enough as he is probably #3/4.

Thought Borja was better last game then Machado. But like I said previously this is 90% the NT. USA putting out a bunch of little kids these games. Us losing would be embarrassing

That midfield is lovely even tho i prefer we play with 2 strikers. Let’s see which Cuadrado shows up. The awesome one or the one who forgets we aren’t Juve and dives every 5 minutes

Let's see which James shows up. Diva #10 or a focused MF. When James's mind is elsewhere it's so obvious. Hoping that this time in the NT brings him and us some joy.

would be a breath of fresh air if we could put up 2 or 3 goals in the opening 30 minutes with this lineup and play nervous-free futbol as well.

yeah same lineup I saw yesterday, was too lazy to post it. Should be enough to get past USA. Will probably struggle with the double number 9's though as usual.

also, have to hope that Jeison Murillo doesn't do something dumb and leave us exposed.

At least these two #9s have started the season strong. Would much rather see Villa than Cuadrado and Borja with Falcao. But oh well, it's just a friendly with an interim DT.
