Haven’t been listening to the noise, but aside from aurnoutovic I don’t hate the west ham team. Maybe bc Pellegrini looks like AW, but I always liked him as well. Thought he got hosed by city.
Flipped it on at 2-1 Hammers. Then they got a third and United at no point since have looked like they were even trying to get a second.
The team wants to go out and ball. Mourinho doesn't know how, who didn't think this wasn't going to end in tears?

Shaqiri shitting on Charlie Adam and stoke after some negative comments by Adam. “I was one of the only ones who helped the team with goals in difficult games and he was that guy who took the red card in [important] league games (against Everton) and missed a penalty (against Brighton).”
How isn't this Cronaldo rape story a bigger deal? He admitted to anally raping this woman. http://www.spiegel.de/international...an-who-accuses-ronaldo-of-rape-a-1230634.html 1046478115734720513 is not a valid tweet id
I don't know. If forced to speculate, my guess would be because footy still isn't a top 3 sport in the U.S., the Kavanaugh and other Trump scandals du jour have sort of buried it. Not saying that's right but just my guess.
What Yoss said, plus harsher libel laws outside the US make it more risky for foreign media to pursue these stories. If this was a US-based star at Ronaldo's level, it would be the Kobe Bryant story.
According to Miguel Delaney the lawyers of the UK news desks don't want to publish it because unlike Speigel they don't have the documents, so they would be at risk of being sued, without being able to prove the allegations but that's irrelevant since the entire point in a libel case is proving what's true! So "the truth being an absolute defence" is kind of a meaningless statement here, when it is "the truth" that's the centre of the case! How do you prove it's true? The documents.— Miguel Delaney (@MiguelDelaney) October 1, 2018
Wow, would this, could Ronaldo be the first huge sports casualty of #METOO? If it's a credible allegation, it would seem to be a big test of truth-to-power. Cosby down. Weinstein on his way. Kavanaugh... who knows.
It is finally picking up stream It will be the biggest sports story of 2019... assuming charges are filed which I expect On side note ... if this questionnaire regarding details of the night - procured by his lawyers in civil negotiations is real - he had some really morons as counsel Will see
The nexus of english speaking football media is the UK so that is where the scandal would need to ignite. Delaney's tweets (head of football at the indie) were all over the place but according to him there is no conspiracy to protect sponsors etc - rather editors are locked in conversations with lawyers. Spiegel has primary sources for their story and weaker defamation laws. So I guess England is happy to move slower and get some sourcing of their own, seeing as they are scooped anyway. As we've seen in other high profile cases (e.g. the Maddie McCann fiasco), even if Ronaldo is under police investigation the UK media could be liable for large payouts if they make allegations they cannot substantiate A big issue here is that given Brand Ronaldo, payouts will be high 7 or 8 figure not low 6 figure if they mess up. So I guess where the Mail and co might risk a liability of 100K payout, 10m is a different kettle of fish!
Even DeGea hasn't been that good since just before the World Cup. Massively underachieving. Under Klopp this current ManU team would be going mental. But can't say we didn't see this coming, it is Third Year Mou after all.
