There is also an excellent version here ... I wont be surprised if it will be picked up and used in a film or TV series at some point :

7 years since the terror and bombings is Oslo today . Thoughts goes to the people who lost their loved ones .
Love goes to our Nordic brothers and sisters .

I remember I read a comment on youtube from a Danish mother who quoted her child's comment after 22 July 2011. Her child had seen the news about the terror in Norway and said he/she was sad like she had lost a brother or a sister. The mother told her child that she understand her grief and sadness, because the Norwegians are what we call Brotherly people to the Danes.

Really interesting about the special forces unit. How do young women look at conscription now in your country? Are they eager to serve? what do the feminists think about all that?

Scandinavia have a long history where the females are respected warriors . Shield-maiden was female warriors fighting side by side with the men in the viking age.

In 2014 the Parliament passed the military duty to be gender neutral .Men and woman are pr now more or les seen as the same as long as they are not pregnant .
I think most of the women are positive to this

In Denmark we have now boiled down the past years possible film entries for the Oscars to these movies :

Vinterbrødre (Winter Brothers), starring Danish actors Elliott Crosset Hove and Simon Sears (+ Lars Mikkelsen ) :

Den Skyldige (The Guilty), starring Jakob Cedergren and Jessica Dinnage (recently starring in Netflixs 'The Rain') :
    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6742252/

Lykke-Per (A Fortunate Man) based on a novel written around 1898 by Danish Nobel Prize–winning author Henrik Pontoppidan and is part of the Danish Culture Canon which consists of the 108 most importants works of cultural excellence ever made in the history of Denmark (in the 8 categories: architecture, visual arts, design and crafts, film, literature, music, performing arts) ... The book has been translated into film by the Cannes Palme d'Or, Golden Globe and Oscar winning director Bille August, unfortunately there is no English translated trailer as of yet :

    Election in Sweden today.
    Screen Shot 2018-09-09 at 20.05.50.jpg

The hottest topic is off course immigration and Sweden Democracts .
Im not any political expert on Swedish politic .This is only a some of what is in the Norwegian media.
The last "incident" is that SD now has broken any dialog and contact with SVT (The state channel) have reportet SVT to international election observers in the OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE)
This after the leader of SD Jimmie Åkesson said in a political debate program on SVT that immigrant in Sweden is struggling to adapt to the Swedish culture and way of life. SVT distanced from this in the aftermath. After SD reported the channel to OSCE the leader Eva Landahl had to leave her job in the channel.

Not more then two weeks ago almost 100 cars was set on fire round Sweden in areas with an high immigrant population.

From a Norwegian point of view the lack off will or currage to really take the immigration debate in Sweden before it goes to far might be their main problem. And the Swedes have as we Norwegian say , Always been neutral because they do not dare to take a stand.
This election can result in a political vacuum or chaos in Sweden .

Norway debated the same things in the 70`s, and warned about the Swedish and English conditions already then.

Interesting. it def appears that Swedes rather ignore the issue of the hostile climate when it comes to simply discussing integration/immigration whereas Norwegians and Danes discuss it without remark. Not sure how the Finns deal with integration. Not that many immigrants there compared to the others.

But it's interesting whether things change greatly with SD. People are bored with the Social Democrats and they're making their voices heard. The whole issue with taking in 150 K refugees back in 2015 was a risk that didn't pay off for the government. Albeit altruistic, it basically put fuel on the fire for the right-wing.

Pretty interesting to see arctic training. I remember reading the Brits seemingly masters at it (well their commandos).

Norway has a Marine type unit don't you? Coastal Rangers/Commandos.(more like the Brits or Dutch than say our Marines) . I forgot the official name for it. I just remember reading about them some years ago while I was in Sweden
