With Putin you can add France, Britain, and the United States to the list, but he tries to maintain plausible deniability by having military hackers do it. I would 't be surprised if some Russian bots helped gin up the neo nazi riots in Germany this week.
Why are u even responding to this far right idiot? He needs a forum ban Ps I wonder if he has blonde hair and blue eyes?
If correct pronunciation of Ozil (or Aubamayang or Bellerin or ...) is your benchmark for taking people seriously, then there are certainly going to be very few people whose opinion you respect! I for one mispronounce all 3 of those AFAIK. Sorry you don't like podcasts, but you might want to reconsider. There is some absolutely terrific podcast content out there, and then there's some awful stuff. It's just like any other communication medium, starting with books. Back on topic... The Arsenal Vision podcast guys were talking about Ozil at the end, and I found it interesting that Tim Stillman said he could vouch for the Brazilian guy who broke the story about Ozil & Emery having a row, over his refusal to take a seat on the bench for West Ham. Nobody's able to say that that story is100% true, but most of the pundits I've been listening to think it's probably true. (and my gut feels likewise) I'm not too up on the DFB/racism stuff, but from what I've heard and what I know about history, both recent and long ago, I tend to believe Mesut. But Erdogan is a bad dude so aligning yourself with him in any way seems not smart. But beyond all of that, because I'm here as a lifelong Arsenal supporter, what I'm primarily concerned about is seeing Ozil get to some place where he's happy, healthy, playing well, and last but not least helping the team advance. So frankly I'm more concerned with what happened this past week between him and the club than anything else. And I really hope that Emery shows better man-management skills with Ozil, than Mourinho has with Pogba for example. And I'm optimistic that Mesut is easier to "manage" than Neymar for example.
Phew, glad that's over. Also, to those struggling with player name pronunciations, remember; Xhaka is pronounced 'Ea-sily-by-pass-ed', Mustafi is pronounced 'Cau-ght-in-bad-posit-ions' and Welbeck is pronounced 'God'.
Maybe its the lawyer thing but I tend to think if you can't manage to get on top of basic accuracy then why should I believe the rest. I don't doubt it but I am generally too impatient. Why should I sit though 30mins of guys jawing when it could have all been said in a 300 word article. Where it would be good is driving - but the fam have no interest in Ozil, Arsenal etc
Unfortunately Arsenal's own ignorant fanbase seems determined to mansplain racism to a german turk as well 1034930888038141952 is not a valid tweet id
OK, but it's also good when you drive solo. I also like podcasts when I'm doing the dishes after dinner, doing exercise, or vacuuming the pool. My wife does accuse me of tuning out with my earbuds though. She's not far wrong. Which is part of the value.
I listen to them at the gym because the music at my gym suuuucccks. But I usually listen to longer stuff, specifically history podcasts. Absolutely love Dan Carlin. Right now listening to his "Blueprint for Armageddon" which is about the start of the First World War -- great stuff.
It's the single subject in history that's fascinated me most over the last 30+ years. There is so much good stuff out there - so many perspectives. Fascinating.

What annoys me most about Le Grove is he claims to be some football genius / ITK but then spouts illogical crap The most obvious example being the idea that Arsenal would give Ozil a huge payrise to one of the highest salaries in football despite no other club being in for him. I mean how can that be true unless there was competition for his signature? Then Ramsey is doing the same thing right now, despite there being no obvious interest in him - yet he doesn't apply the same logic. Of course Ramsey will sign on somewhere as a free agent and earn mega bucks unless we give him a bumper deal. If a club can sign Ramsey without say a 20-40m transfer fee - the lions share of that cash saving will be paid to him in a weekly payment, which could be anywhere from an extra £100-£200K p/w So you can see how Ramsey can easily demand 250K+ p.w from Arse because he will get that elsewhere. Ozil was already on 180k p.w. so you can see how with pay inflation plus sign off bonus converted weekly - he would clear 350K p.w elsewhere This is why players cannot be allowed to reach free agent territory
Love that podcast. “The Guns of August” is a good book that he recommends which focuses on the build up to Ww1.
King of Kings is a brilliant bit of story telling. But, he has mastered his style by blueprint. His common sense podcast is pretty good if you want to hear a man describe, in great detail, why is as exhausted with common man as we all probably are.
A prize possession lost on my move to Europe is John Keegan's WWI I read that book about 4 times https://www.amazon.com/First-World-War-John-Keegan/dp/0375700455
Yeah, loved King of Kings and also The Celtic Holocaust. And I sort of dig his style so I don't mind that all of them have a similar vibe.
What podcast app do you guys recommend for Android? I go around the houses on this for music as well - never found one I am satisfied with
