Coco was great in Copa 2016. I actually hope Spurs can win the league this time.

Lanzini is crocked but Lamela should be there. Also get rid of Romero, Armani and Salvio.

We need to find a reliable young right-back first.

People has been saying Iniesta and Xavi makes Messi a better player but his great partners had left one by one and Messi still dominates the game easily.

    Honestly bad.

I don’t think he’s good enough to be a viable long term CB for Argentina, unfortunately.

But I think in recent years the CB position hasn’t been as much of a concern. Otamendi and Fazio are both good, and there are talented youngsters like Foyth, Mammana and Franco.

Unlikely. I think Liverpool are the only ones with a real chance and even then they were 25 points worse than City last season. That's a lot of improvement needed (or a lot of bad luck to City, maybe a deep CL run takes some wind out of their sails).

Another day, another Aguero hat trick. But we couldn't have used him against France...

Just like in 2010 QF, the manager put Aguero's in when we've conceided 4 goals so he can save the day.

Its unfortunate that he had a conflict with Diego and Sampa in 2010 and 2018 respectively while mostly injured throughout 2014 (4 times).

Damn, aguero got brand new legs. But we needed to start Pavon.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but Aguero technically is better than Bati or Crespo. He is easily our second best player of this era.

When he first exploded, I had thought that the Messi-Aguero tandem would be good for at least 1 World Cup and 2 Copa’s.

Pity how things have turned out.

Aguero had a great discomfort on his knee since 2013 and after the surgery before the 2018 WC started, his knee was painfree. If only he had a surgery before the 2014 WC started, maybe things could have been different.

We're like 1 inch from winning 1 WC & 2 Copa in 2014-2016. If Argentina isnt a team with such big history , those runner up finishes would have been seen as hugely successfull achievement. You can imagine if Belgium or Croatia reach 3 consecutive major tournament finals, it would have been a super historic in the eyes of many.

Same guy, yep. Also same guy who managed to represent the Italian NT twice in friendlies.

He says he’s glad he never played for them officially in qualifiers since now he can fulfill his dream of playing for Argentina. Maybe if Italy had qualified for the WC he would have never gotten this opportunity

PSG have put Lo Celso on sale because he doesn’t fit their new coach’s system. I think there is about a week left for him to find a club or be benched until January. It sucks but I surely hope he finds a place to go. Inter are looking for a box-to-box player with playmaking abilities. Their Modric pursuit didn’t go through and Barca beat them to Vidal so maybe they would consider Lo Celso. I feel that they desperately need another midfielder to compete so this might be a good chance.

It will be interesting to see if he gets playing time, which I hope he does. And by the way, he scored over the weekend.

Zenit won 4-1. Driussi got his name on scorer's sheet 2X and Paredes scored on a FK.

    A. Correa scored today v Valencia.

    Chucky also got a goal.

De Paul scored via a PK and apparently had a good game for himself.

Seems like the youngsters who have been overlooked since 2015 are making a statement. DePaul has been earning rave reviews in Serie A since last season, another player who I suspect will never get a real chance with the NT.

Dybala was dropped by the incompetent Allegri. I understand he was pretty bad last game but so was the entire team. It is time for him to pack up and leave, a player of his quality should not be dropped, especially after the first game of the season.

A nice story and shows you the type of person Nico is. This young Ajax fan had requested for Nico's shirt for a few games.

His father took to Twitter and posted a couple pictures saying that his son has asked for Tagliafico's shirt with no luck .Tagliafico messaged the father and told him to come to the training grounds at a certain time and sure enough, he gave him a signed shirt and took pictures with the kid.

Inter still yet to look good, they really need to strengthen their midfield and defence if they're going to win league or progress deep in CL. Icardi assisted Perisic goal with a great long cross.

As for Dybala, Allegri clearly has never really trust him 100%. Player like him should be keep playing regardless few bad games.

Inter lack a midfield. They looked good on the wings with Politano and Perisic but they lack somebody who can play directly from the midfield. I am not sure if Ninja is hurt or what but they really needed somebody like Modric or even Paredes. As for our boys. Icardi looked sharp in the first half, he got an assist with a fine cross and almost got a second one when he headed down the ball to a teammate. In the second half, this is where Torino simply dominated the match, Inter were fortunate they did not lose. Spalletti, decided to use Lautaro in the 91+ minute, which was comical and he almost nearly helped Inter win the match. I hope he gets more serious minutes in the next match.

In the same match, Ansaldi picked up a knee injury and was subbed off.

As for Allegri, I am convinced that he has stunted Dybala's growth. Dybala is not a 10, he is not a winger, he is a forward. You buy a forward to transform him into a winger or a 10?

He talks about how he can only play 11 at a time. Dybala has been the leading goal scorer for the last three seasons for the squad and he's talking about he can only play 11? In the last 15-20 minutes, Mandzukic could barely jog and yet Dybala sat his ass on the bench for the entire match. Allegri is also talking about trying to find a system that works. What has he been doing since the players that got back from the World Cup, eating agnolotti and drinking aperol?

    ------------

    Staying in Italia.

    Gio
scored and got an assist for Viola. Lets see if he can get closer to that 20 goal season.

Scores 3 minutes and 20s mark of the video

De Paul scored again this weekend.

    Scored 46s into the video

    Pastore scored this gem.

Rigoni has scored two for Atalanta in the first half.

    Fazio has been terrible.

I think Paredes would be great addition for Inter, they certainly need midfielder who can hold the ball longer and create danger from there. Just look at them last season, its basically Icardi and Perisic dragging them to the top 4, especially Icardi who despite being a "9" ended up becoming their most creative player. I never understand a manager who takes a long ime to intgrate new player. Lautaro should be playing at least one half in next game.

Dybala confidence and playing form will be affected if he continue to be at Juve ...I think he should ask to be sold. Despite having lots of talents on his team, Allegri best achievement outside serie A is only CL runner up where he's lucky enough to get there from Dybala two stunners against Barca. Dybala scored 26 goals last season despite having to play really deep and no more support from Pogba. With CR presence, it will only makes it even worst for Dybala.

Everyone seems to think Gio is an average talent, but who knows what the future hold... he's still only 23 and not every players reach world class level in their early 20's like Messi, Icardi, Kun or Dybala. There are many who doesnt peak until their mid 20's. His scoring record actually aint bad considering the teams he played in so far.
