As you may or may not know, there is a group of current Cauldron members that are looking to relocate outside of the Supporter section at the new stadium. The current planned location is behind the Supporter section where it wraps up the sideline (around the 30-35 yrd line, about 6-7 rows back). I am working to have a block of seats in that area "reserved" for the Cauldron Emeritus for the seat selection so we can all sit together. If you would be interested in sitting with us, and have not contacted me yet, feel free to post in this thread or PM me if you prefer and I will add you to the count I am preparing so the FO will have a ballpark idea of our numbers. While several people planning to sit in this new section are members of Hillcrest Syndicate, there is no group association expectations with this area, just die hard fans that would like to sit with like minded fans. You bring up an excellent point that I failed to mention. This section of people is not limited to people from the Cauldron...it's open to ANY Wizards (or whatever we're going to be called) fans that would like to sit with us. I'll include you in my count. Thanks!
Just a bump for everyone interested. With the Seat Selection coming up next week, I talked with the FO today to confirm that we are a go for the Cauldron Emeritus section....and we are. Section 131 starting in row 16. I don't know that there is something special we need to state on the Seat Selection Call, but they are supposed to be holding back a block of seats there for our group. If you are interested, but have not let me know, you can post in here or send me a PM...whichever you prefer. We are around 30 people right now and always open to anyone wanting to sit with other like-minded fans....no affiliation required or expected.
Just a heads up: if you are interested in sitting in the Cauldron Emeritus section, you can ask for that section specifically this week during your Seat Selection call. Quick change of plan...if you have expressed interest to me of being in the Cauldron Emeritus, you should receive a call from Sam about your seat selection.
I chose to go with the Member's Stand as I can't really afford the increase in price. But thanks for the option. Good luck to the Emeritus section.
