A whole other situation that should have never happened. We need peace, not stoke the fires even more. The player could be totally right, but he shouldn't say what he said publically. It's one of the things that have to be corrected at the club, there's no control over what comes out. If he's dissatisfied, take it up with the coach in private and with the board if a sale is what has to happen. Also we don't see what happens in training. Unless your Ronaldo or Messi, if you don't give 100% in training, he shouldn't start. Jovane and Raphinha may just be showing more determination during the week. Side note: Jovane has come in multiple times to change the game for us already in pre-season and in the first league game, but nobody in the press mentions him. Gedson at Benfica (aka Renato Sanches 2.0) scores a goal and suddenly half of Europe is interested.

C'mon man. You must see the newspapers different criteria. Regardless if it's a young promising star, a team loss, a team win, a corruption scandal, a coach, etc.... list goes on and one. If you haven't noticed that in all these years man, I don't know what else to say. Here's one tiny example: last year when SCP had 4 points I believe in CL group play (win and a tie) with 2 games remaining and Benfica had 0 points with 2 games remaining, the titles in the papers were something like "Sporting's road out of group stage is extremely difficult and almost impossible" while for benfica it read something like "Everything open for Benfica. road to knockout still within reach" I mean, it's funny, but very visible dude.

They looked at Sanches, who is a shit player and massively overrated because he can tackle players stud up with repercussions in Portugal. I dont understand your point? Half of europe did look at gelson and william and the media duly reported it. I doubt anyone has scouted Jovane before the last couple of weeks. You guys are insane if you think his value is on par with Gedson. Maybe one day he will but Gedson is deserved to be ahead right now. This argument literally doesnt make sensr to me. Its arguments like these where i cant stand pety rivalries. Be honest here, would your description of Sanches be the same right now if he was a Sporting youth product?
