I'm curious as to why Vrsaljko was allowed to leave Atleti. Juanfran is useful, but fact remains, he's getting old. Guessing that Partey will see some time there, with Rodri an option in the holding midfied spot.
Ramos the designated Pk taker for Real? Juanfran handball and Ramos converts to put Real in the lead. The mano a mano that has been going on all game has been interesting. Those 2 don't play. Diego Costa such a right handful in the box: buries it from close range to make it 2-2.
That's when it really started going to pot for Real. They were pretty much in control until then. That's why for me, he's simply one of my favorites in the holding role. So understated, but so freaking good.
This may be a cup nobody cares about, but these are the type of games that Ronaldo's Madrid would win. He takes them from being a great team to an elite team. I wonder if he'll do the same with Juve.
According to the Telegraph, KDB's knee injury could keep him out anywhere between 2-4mos. Skysports are reporting the same thing.
I've never understood the hype with Wagner. Seems pretty average to me despite having a decent scoring record.

Can Ronaldo help propel Serie A to it's former glory? www.bbc.com/sport/football/45209996 Juve will definitely be favorites again to win the title, but there looks to be lots of quality teams after them. And the Top 5-6 should be pretty hotly contested, with Roma, both Milan teams, Lazio and Napoli all vying for three remaining CL spots. The league, in general, was already on the upswing recently, it should be all but back now.

Leonardo is still making moves at Milan: they've sealed the signatures of Samuel Castllejo and Diego Laxalt. Plus, there are still reports they are looking to bring in Sergej on loan for this season as well. Laxalt cost just €18mil. Even with the inflated fee we probably would have had to pay for him, he still could have turned into a great bargain for us...
