Probably the worst name ever. Unless maybe San Jose Clash or KC Wiz were still around. Judging by how poorly it was received, I have hope.

Finally a professional sounding name that our club actually owns all rights to. Well done.

If somebody...several somebodies. most likely...doesn't get their act together fairly soon, I'm afraid the team will be called "Sacramento Republic FC".

Or perhaps the new "Columbus Crew SC".

It's been over four years now...

Sacramento Republic FC has a nice ring to it.
With any luck Miami will have a team by the year 2065 and by then, maybe even come up with a name that actually sounds good. Oh wait, Miami could be under water by then.

Funny the top 2 names on here for the last 3-4 years will probably end up being the name.

InterMiami...perfect tie in for many reasons, now we can add the fact that the stadium could very well be next to the Miami Intermodal Center and Miami International Airport.

At last...a logical use of an international naming convention for a domestic team.

Not according to the article. It stated, that it might be Internacional Club de Futbol Miami....unless Mas decides to go with Miami Freedom FC. So its a either or, not both.

    Yep, you said

"actually both Freedom Park will be where the stadium will be located"

:Which implies you meant both Internacional Club de Futbol Miami and Miami Freedom will be the names of the club. Which isnt what has been implied, that I am aware of. One or the other has been. Yeah Freedom Park will be where the stadium will be located, DIFFERENT than the articles stating Mas may go with Miami Freedom FC over Internacional Club de Futbol Miami...

Maybe so, But your comment was aimed at my statement "
Internacional Club de Futbol Miami, if they go with that and not Miami Freedom..."

See where the confusion lies, you said both. To my post....which causes it to look like you were saying both to my post about it could be ICdFM or Miami Freedom...My post had nothing to do with the location or stadium or anything else. But what name they were going to use.

Is it considered bad form for English speakers to call them Miami International Soccer Team? MIST? Miami International?
