The play was beautiful by Rooney but it proves even further that it’s a retirement league... He’s retired from England NT duty, comes to MLS, literally wrecks the entire Orlando team in one play. Even as a striker, he makes a slide tackle better than his own defenders could do. But but but mls is a retirement league... pic.twitter.com/BNj1wik0nE— Neil McEachern (@neilmceachern) August 13, 2018
Rooney looked gassed in England the last two seasons. This play kills MLS as a reputable league. FYI, @thedragonrik58 I've sold all my tickets to LAKFC. Puras pinches mamadas.
Barco, Almirón, Valeri, Giovinco, Ruidíaz, Vela, Gio, Jona, Josef Martínez, Lodeiro serían figuras en la Liga MX.— Aldo Farias (@AldoFariasGzz) August 2, 2018 Gio, Jona are garbo & far from being in "plenitud" Valeri, Almiron, Martinez, Barco are nobodies Ruidiaz never put asses in seats during his Morelia stint
Aye mah boi you never confirmed or denied if theres any pawgs in your supporters shield or whatever. Lemme know. Been wanting to go to an LAFC game. Drink some beers. Stare at asses n shit.
I’m more creeped out that a team needs a diversity task force every few months, I head on over to the US Soccer website to check if their Diversity Task Force is still completely nonexistent.. aaaandd let's see...yep, still blank. dope. pic.twitter.com/TDMnBxkSUv— amadí (@amadoit__) August 17, 2018
I’m glad he feels on par with: 37 year old and NT retired Zlatan NT retired David Villa NT retired Wayne Rooney Bradley Wright Philips Josef Martínez
Should have stayed at Real Sociedad or a different Spanish team. The guy still has a lot in the tank but decided to cash in early and retire. I understand it was a business move for him and his family but it won't be long his form will take a hit the more time he plays in MLS. If by some chance his form doesn't get hit as hard that most of us thought, he can be a useful sub or spot starter in the next cycle, imo.
you are assuming that he cares about his form or that most of these players care about the well being of the national team, most of them don't care if they play like shit for Mexico they just want to be called to get better sponsorships and bigger contracts in MLS or Liga MX. If he cared he'd have done a Guardado and stay in Europe for six more months.
