So, just to confirm my suspicions about Overtown because I'm bored at work and haven't really been focused much on this thread. Beckham group decided on this as their stadium site?

I guess there is no need for parking right? Or am I missing the fact that they are in talks to buy out that little plaza to the South?

Now you see why they prefer the golf course instead.

That would honestly be one of the greatest moves MLS could make. A franchise in Havana = Brilliant!

Move New England there and they could be the Cuban Revolution.

Viva La Revolution! We will torture our opponents...and occasionally, some of our supporters.

I can think of only a fewer finer used if a golf course than turning it into an entirely privately financed soccer stadium & complex.

While not as good as the waterfront, this is better than Overtown.

They have a blue checkmark so obviously it's true!

Seems way too early in the morning for an announcement like that.

Does anyone know why the name is in spanish?.

Why wouldn't they create one for each language?

Maybe is too early for me to understand

I think it’s great. The Miami supporters groups on twitter seem to like it, while the rest of the comments are trashing it. Looking forward to seeing he first set of uniforms they come out with.

It's Miami. People default to Spanish over there.

Because one in English would default to the overdone FC.

The Pink reminds me of Palermo. It is different. I kind of like it.

I do Like the logo, I think it is actually quite well done..

The language seemed weird. But I now understand the miami/latino thing.

Once again this forum is a 180 from Twitter which is in full panic mode about the name - though everyone seems to like the logo. Personally I don't like the name - but I do like the logo.

I think as long as they go by Inter Miami, which their web address suggests they will, it is good. I will add, that is what I have said they would go by all along...to toot my own horn.

Isnt this what we wanted all along?

Inter Miami with the 80’s pink and black Miami Vice vibe to the badge?

I think its a home run.
