not a great start for Bufalo...gets a red card in min 12 vs Aberdeen. Luckily they walk away 1-1 tie.

I must say that Ospina was always a mystery to me. At his prime I considered him easy top 10 in the world yet no team had treated him like one. 2 million euro?! Really??? Two million and they hesitate?? Someone here really believes that Kape is either better than Ospina who really is the most expensive goalkeeper?I was positive that his career in France will be shor6fand that he'll quickly move to one of the majoe clubs... you can say maybe Arsenal but theb again, only a sub...very disappointing.

Ospina has never been top 10 in the world. We view him through rose colored glasses because he's Colombian but his club career hasn't been overly impressive by any means.

He's been excellent for our NT and in the Americas, a top 5 GK. So much so that we havent been able to find anyone relatively close to what he offers for 2 WCQ campaigns. Club wise it's a different ballgame.

We haven't been able to find anyone relatively close to what he offers because our goalkeeping pool is horrendous right now, not because Ospina is such a great keeper. If he was a world class keeper he would have had teams throughout his career jumping for him, he himself doesn't even believe he's world class, he was content to sit on the bench at Arsenal for almost 4 years. He's been good for Colombia for sure, but to be a world class goalie you have to be consistent every week, not just every few months for your National Team. And he's had some mistakes for us as well, he almost cost us going to the World Cup.

He can still be sold after the English deadline, and Arsenal have already 2 senior goalies in Cech and Leno so they'd let him leave I'm sure.

Yeah man we know that in your fifa 2019 ospina has a low rate and your "soccer" magazines dont like him ....but he is not so mediocre as you want to show....

In arsenal, Wasgoali for european tournaments and cups.....always not sub at all.......ter stegen was too for barcelona, while bravo was starter in league.

Part of the bloopers and mistake he had...that also had de gea, lloris recenlty....happens......are because he wasnt playing always........

In france he was rated as one of the best goalies there.....isnt a secret.

Yeah he isnt mediatic and his reputation isnt the same after arsenal....like happen almost always from the players of that team.......but he isnt a bad goalie....and can be a great keeper.

Keilor navas before 2014..nobody wanted him.....so he wasnt a world class keeper??? we cant confuse fame with quailty

Couldn't answer better myself. I still think that in his prime he was worth way more than his career actually shows and I can give other examples of overrated players who were mediocre yet still played in top clubs. Not always you are good or mediocre according to your club. Sometimes it's much more than that. Take Kepa for example. Do you think he is better than Ospina? He is not even the goalkeeper of Spain yet everyone is all over him because some sucker paid on him 80M.
