Here's the shirt: http://www.footballshirtculture.com/18/19-Kits/sm-caen-2018-2019-umbro-home-kit.html Crest is REALLY cool.
It's amazing how quickly this thread turns from blaming Chelsea for stymying his progress to excitement at a challenging loan for Miazga
Get French Football News and independent journalist Mohamed Toubache-Ter earlier reported Caen's interest, adding that Miazga would head to France for a medical on Tuesday. However, a source with knowledge of the situation cautioned that other clubs are also chasing Miazga and that "no final decision has been made" with regard to Caen's offer. The source added that it's likely there will be a final determination as to Miazga's club future for 2018-19 "in the next 36 hours."
I’m just glad that 1. We’re finally getting info 2. Caen isn’t his only option. A bottom-of-Ligue 1 team isn’t exactly the best route. Hopefully this means there are better offers for him.
You could copy and paste this into any big soccer thread and fill in the blanks as you’d like. We all love a good overreaction
Caen had the lowest goals scored last season in Ligue 1 with only 27 goals in 38 games. At that clip, Miazga has a chance of being top scorer
It's 1) A move up in league quality and 2) a club that has a need at CB. There are always things to quibble with in regards to any situation but this would be an excellent next step IMO.
It’s certainly better and wouldn’t be a “bad” spot by any means, but maybe there’s something better out there that we don’t know about yet. I’m just glad he has options.
I've always felt like Miazga has an issue with switching off, so as far as I'm concerned, an under-siege, relegation-threatened team is perfect for his development. Plus, Ligue 1 has strict non-EU rules that affect a lot of American players, so it's cool to see a guy who those rules don't apply to take advantage of the opportunity.
Could be. Feyenoord's CD Sven van Beek is wanted by several Italian, Buli and a Turkish club, and we have an aging Brasilian CD. So several people are urging Feyenoord to get a CD ASAP.
really? i think that describes the other CB's in the USMNT player pool more than Miazga. Brooks, Omar, GCam, Alvarado etc....way more than Miazga....maybe you are projecting b/c that has been an issue with the other CB's ? But I agree that a relegation candidate is probably good for him b/c of his position...whereas it wouldn't be good for an attacker/striker.....as long as they continue to allow him to keep developing his passing out of the back that he seems to have improved upon in netherlands....
It describes all of them, and it describes Miazga from the moment he walked into the Red Bulls starting XI.
well he is 3 seasons removed from playing for RBNY at age 19/20....havent seen that issue from him lately...especially not in his USMNT appearances...have you?
