I think Ayayain posted an article sometime ago from Bild which said Zahavi gave up on getting Lewa out of Bayern as they wouldn't even talk to him. Bayern doesn't want to sell at all.

I won't mind Mariano or Morata for a fair price. Hazard is the only 'Galactico' who could be available. But not really a goalscorer and I don't think many here want to spend 200 ME+ on him. So can't blame Flo either.

 

There's been quite a few rumors that Lewa is interested in leaving and if he really wants the move and we really want him then both parties should try to force Bayern to sell. Same goes for Hazard.

 

Morate big NO.... Mariano yes but part from striker we need a true goal poacher in place of Ronaldo it would wrong to assume that striker can get us 30 plus goal but two upgrades to the squad would definitely give us goals to fill in the vacuum left by Ronaldo
Hazard is available but not sure that flo would risk it with big transfer money .. people should remember what happened to mbappe transfer now 180 million looks so low for him so we should go for 20 to 24 years range of top player maybe spending big in that age group the investment lose would be minimum and easy to recoup

 

Losing Kovacic should force the club into bringing back James.

I'm sure James can force the move even if Bayern are refusing to release him.
Just like he did forcing Perez to loan him to them.

i assume that Courtois is done deal , and Navas and Courtois would compete with each other, 3 players are added including loan returns & excluding Goalkeepers which is balanced out, Ronaldo departure we add one galactico so the coach has to loan out 3 players or sell off so maybe to keep squad at same number.

 

Kovacic cant leave on the cheap he must realise that, especially when premier league nobodies are going for £50m

james is big idiot, talent wise fine but temperament should be intact. - kovacic goes we need a box to box player may be savic to match his profile, i assume lope would try to play Llorente

the big mistake of lope would be not to sign CB - i assume that availability of Ramos would suffer this season due to his age and Vallejo is not ready at a high level. nacho can play there but not most effective.

 

Money is not issue for us - let's renew him and send him on loan to Italy or EPL

 

Couple of thoughts regarding squad and transfers;

• We don't know the actual potential of this squad without Ronaldo. We really don't, so we might be surprised at how good they can actually play.

• The problem is that the "potential" includes healthy Bale and a proper striker in front of him, first of which is a big unknow and second we don't have in the squad at the moment.

• As for complacency, I think the team will be fired up to show that Ronaldo was just one of the players and that we can continue without him. It's a matter of personal pride, so I'm sure no extra motivation will be needed.

• Having said all that, I'd rather buy Hazard and Cavani whatever it costs and play 4-3-2-1 (christmass tree). I'm fine with Flo's betting on the young players idea, but that can only be part of the equation. To stay relevant we need to deliver and to do that we also need some serious proven players. Raw kids like Vinicius are exactly that and there is no place for them in the squad right now.

We missed out on Jose Gimenez and Lenglet so that means we are not looking to buy a defender, just hope we don't loan out Theo!

 

Vinicius is playing with Castilla and will join first team when needed so thats fine

 

Are there not certain limitations in case of Castilla - > first team appearances?

 

I don't think that Milinković-Savić is better then Kovačić I think they both the same style of players. the only deafferents that it will cost us 150 for MS

 

Federico Valverde can take the spot of Kovacic

 

We need a proper winger and a goalscorer if we want to compete for multiple trophies. Simple as that. Hazard and Cavani/Icardi/Lewa. If Kovacic leaves another good midfielder. And a centre-back.

 

Zero news so far.. it worries me that all these deals maybe can happen just month from now

 

Premier League window shuts 9th August so we will soon find out if any more players are coming. They can sell until end of August though

Players like Mayoral, Benzema and Bale wouldn't get into any of the top teams in Europe. There's a reason no one has come in for any of these players yet. Benz scored 5 goals last season and no one sees anything wrong with that. Bale spends half the season either injured or out of form.

Our strike force is Europa league standard at the moment. Genuinely.

 

Exactly although Bale shouldn't be trusted to play all season as he gets injured.
