He said the same about North Korea and Kim, before publicly fellating him. Of course, Iran is a bit more "brown" and Muslim, so...
Deep down, we ALL knew it really was going to be Iran, right? From the moment Trump started about the Iran Nuclear Deal, to hiring Bolton, it was always going to be Iran. Election shenanigans "in a time of war" bullcrap on the way. I predict September 15th the bombing will start (maybe 9/11?). Although, with petulant lunatic it could be much sooner.
So Paul Manafort's trial starts this week. Only a hardened cynic would say that this is a related item.
Isn't this just the same shit he said to Kim? Edit: I suppose the difference is Iran doesn't have nuclear weapons. Big mistake. Should have built those.
So President Obama knew about Russia before the Election. Why didn’t he do something about it? Why didn’t he tell our campaign? Because it is all a big hoax, that’s why, and he thought Crooked Hillary was going to win!!!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 22, 2018 This tweet contradicts itself. He is mentally ill.
I dunno - maybe John Bolton was feeling sad about being forced to grovel to Putin, so Trump let him use the twitter for a while to cheer him up. Anyway, if we're going to be wagging the dog, Iran is preferable to North Korea. I also tend to doubt that Putin would give Trump permission to do anything major against one of Russia's main allies.
Now, now, his next tweet was perfectly sensible ... To Iranian President Rouhani: NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE. WE ARE NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH. BE CAUTIOUS!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 23, 2018
Not the most important point of this story, but worth noting: Trump’s @FoxNews bubble helps blind him to when he’s seriously screwed up. https://t.co/WsHkMwlI55 pic.twitter.com/9uGxPPf5jF— Daniel W. Drezner (@dandrezner) July 21, 2018
If/When this war starts, we'll all be asked to "Support the troops" (read: Put aside any differences and unite under the administration we have instead of the one a lot of us wish we had). It's going to be fun watching most of you juggle your knowledge about Trump with your sense of... patriotism.
Yes, if there's one thing that defines FDR's response to the Great Depression, it was his abhorrence of gvt. acting as an employer. From open borders to government-guaranteed jobs, today's Democrats are no longer the party of FDR. https://t.co/MOyahsJFEm— Ronna McDaniel (@RonnaMcDaniel) July 21, 2018 It's just wall to wall lies.
One of the comments to that Rouhani Tweet sum it all up: It's exhausting when toddlers won't go to sleep.
1021341913092317184 is not a valid tweet id I'm sure this will simply be called a lie by media. I'm sure.
Can’t be that obvious, can it? Trump has repeatedly depicted war with Iran an something a president would do for domestic political gain. Here are four examples 👇 pic.twitter.com/JdR1qM0BM8— Sahil Kapur (@sahilkapur) July 23, 2018
Another Randian profile in courage Today I will meet with the President and I will ask him to revoke John Brennan’s security clearance!— Rand Paul (@RandPaul) July 23, 2018
A past workplace's employees pretty much cheerled Desert Storm the whole time and clucked about the patriotism of anyone who suggested that it was unnecessary. This one will probably be worse.
More dog wagging. I hope he had his tomahawk missiles replaced after he shot his wad at some deserted desert airfield. They make a nice sparkly show on TV. Too bad he missed July 4.
This, if Trump tries it, will be a little different. There will not be any allied coalition. We don't have any allies. Tony Blair isn't around to drag the Brits in either. There will be a lot more domestic opposition this time as well. The only hope for support will be a Putin backed one through Syria. A partnership they would love.
I'm curious. Do conspirators like Randy & Nunes really believe in what they're doing or are they totally cynical?
The only advantage (if there's really one) is that this time you won't be blindsided by fake patriotism. Something similar went on at my place of work, but after about 8 years of their Obama hate and 2 more of their OrangeDick Love, I know pretty much what to expect from each one of my coworkers.
