Would like to see Schurrle and Yarmolenko added to that list . Not bothered about Toprak .

Why the hell are we taking players on a loan? That only reinforces the perception of a stepping stone club.

Yarmo's not part of the training so that he can find a new club, probably in England. He had a good start when he came but then became a part of all the average players.

He can go wherever. Just remove him from BVB. Another bang-average player in a squad that is littered with others just like him.

Why did we get rid of Perisic in the first place? Always seemed like a capable player in my book. Even in the WC final this year..

Leao (Sporting Lisbon striker in a bit of a weird contract situation) spotted in Dortmund. Club denies contact however.

Are the Leao rumours true ... ? If so, I think this is the kind of signing Dortmund could really use. Isaac hasn't really developed quite the way they would have liked. Still I do wonder what they are doing with the 200mil from Auba and Dembele ... with the inflationary rates of players, its like trying to hold onto water with your bare palms ...

Durm joins Huddersfield. Slowly we are getting rid of players who were no more able to contribute to the team. In his case it was mostly due to injuries but he also wasn't a good fit for the team anymore.

I think Sahin should recognize the signs as well. He didn't look good in today's friendly with repeatedly failing to connect his forward passes between the lines. I guess it's progress that he tried at least, but the lack of success made him revert to his back passes.

Mandzukic I will say is a good signing if done

I wouldn't mind Mandzukic at all as a two year transition solution if the fee is reasonable. But the last assessment I read said that the chances were very low to get him or that there wasn't much substance behind the rumors. Klopp reportedly was against signing him. I always felt he could have been a good fit for us.

Mandzukic could be a really great signing, just as I was thinking about who’d start up top for us. Don’t want to get too excited by it but he’s a big game player and we really need more of those

I haven't heard rumours about Martial and that position doesn't seem to be the one we need more players for. We actually got rid or are in the process of reducing the numbers there with Yarmo and Schürrle on their way out.

Not sure whether there is any substance behind it, but another rumour is that we are interested in Witsel. He had a good WC but this rumour might be just bs.

Great summer for clearing deadwood salary off the books. Sahin and Rode should also be given walking papers.
