It's basically in a national park, between two universities and a matter of yards from a train station... transit porn anyone?
I'm looking for some new ones. I'm looking through Italy, who I now think may have the worst collection of stadia of any major league. Even one from 2003 (Modena) is ugly.
That's because, in general, most of the stadia are owned by the city or town in which they stand. The clubs are all tenants. I have some vague recollection of Juventus being bitter about having to play in Stadio dell'Alpi, which was built by the government for WC 1990. They are moving into new digs this season.
Here's a better view from the outside of the AMEX Stadium in Brighton... ...and the stadium at night.
