Seriously I can get over the fact that he picked some players over my favorites, but this is fcking deciding Sonny's career! Why did he call up players such as Lee Jin Hyun, Jang Yun Ho or Lee Seung Mo who didn't have playing time, while leaving out Han Chan Hee (best CM in K League), Hwang Ki wook (better than KKW/JYH/LSM) or Seo Young Jae (almost debutet for HSV), if he is arguing that he wanted Hwang Eui Jo because of "form"? I feel sorry for Suk. Can't imagine how he must feel after the WC and now this. He deserved better.

    3 back confirmed
3 back doesn't mean better defense my dude
You chose dudes with v little playing time over dudes with a lot of playing time (looking at Hwang Kiwook's exclusion here)... hypocrite
P sure Kang Hyunmu has outperformed Song BK at the club level..

    still pissed about this dammit

At least we might have a decent midfield at the Olympics with Kwon, Paik, Han Chan Hee, Lee Kang In, Jung Woo Young, etc.

You're assuming the best players will be selected which, as demonstrated today, is never a given.

True that. I pray that something like the Hwang Eui Jo nomination doesnt happen again. Lee Si Yeong is another strange nomination (also Seongnam player).

Those players only bowed at 85 degrees instead of 90 degrees, so they must rot in the military.

So when are the fcktards at the AFC doing the re-drawing of the groups for this Asiad? Watch them try to screw with us on the second drawing.

The lack of professionalism and general competency at AFC is hilarious.

Wait so whats happening? There will be 2 groups of 5? Meaning that those 10 teams play more games than the others??? Im not going to be a bit surprised when its us and Iran drawn in those groups.

they're 100% going to target east asian teams and iran..
if 7 games in 17 days isn't insane enough... now it's looking like 9 games in 17 days for us. Classic AFC incompetence..

I've always hated this aspect of the Olympic and Asiad football tournaments. Risks injury.

Why such a compact schedule + smaller roster? Either expand roster to 23-26, or start the football tournament several days before the opening ceremony (is it so important to have them march?).

tbh the tournament should just start from the semis with us, Japan, Iran and one playoff team (NK, Qatar, Iraq, Saudi, etc.) so we don't have to deal with the bullshit.

At least Na Sang-ho is in good form. Goals in 6 of his last 10 matches.

So both Son snd Hwang Hee Chan will be eligible for the group stage matches :rolleyes:

The whole point was to give Hwang Eui Jo an exemption

Media is speculating something like that:
FW: Son Heung Min, Hwang Hee Chan
    CAM: Lee Seung Woo
MF: Kim Jin Ya, Jang Yun Ho, Lee Jin Hyun, Lee Si Young
DF: Hwang Hyun Soo, Kim Min Jae, Kim Kun Woong
    GK: Cho Hyun Woo
    3-4-1-2

    I would play:

    LSW-SHM-HHC
    KJM-JYH-HIB
    LJH-HHS-KMJ-KJY
    CHW

edit: this would have been our 11 in an ideal world:
    -----------SHM---SHJ---------------/ HHC,NSH
    -----------------LSW--------------------/ LKI
    ----------HCH------KJM-------------/ LJH,HIB
    -----------------PSH--------------------/ JYH
    SYJ----HHS----KMJ----KJY----/ LSY, JTW
    ------------------CHW-----------------/ KHM
    4-4-2 diamond
