Predictable he'd go to Fellaini for that. But that won't get him far.

I might have put the jinx on Brazil but I had to be honest with the viewers when I think there is money to be made. Pretty favorable odds for this Belgium match.

I'm not shocked that Uruguay is losing but the manner which they are losing is something I've never seen from them since I've been watching them. This is pretty fuking pathetic

They got away with starting Muslera for too long. Like I said in the other thread, Vasco fans overrated Martin Silva, but he is better than Muslera. Uruguay mailed it in after the second goal. No fight. I'd be pissed if I were a fan.

I'm sorry about Brazil guys. Really thought this was their year. World football is better with a strong Seleção.

Thought it was strong but losing to Belgium is hard to defend even with the circumstances involved. Eating crow for bashing Roberto, didn't think he'd change to 4-3-3 and keep them organized. Have to tip my fedora. Thought the whole game brazil would get it to extra time and win, can't even say it was a poor performance. I felt the whole match once brazil got a goal that it'd turn and got it but too much god mode from courtois and one of coutinho's misses was cringe and if it could fall to any player on brazil it would be him. hurts and we probably lost mostly due to neymar. I'm a huge defender and still am , maybe my fav athlete in all sports but his reputation burned us. Not necessarily his fault but my nemesis Osorio fanning the flames did not fukin help. Which he has bad blood against Brazilians for other reasons then that l and Neymar exaggerating.

Are we going to have to hear this "South American teams can't play in Europe" narrative for a long time?

Hope not. There were really only two disappointments from SA this year; Brazil and Peru. Argentina at least didn’t totally melt down against France and put up a fight, more than I expected. Uruguay’s fate was sealed after Cavani got injured. Peru were victimized by their inexperience. Brazil were simply unlucky.

Rooting for Brazil here, always have and will continue, regardless of they win or lost.

Today is such a sad day for me. It so SAD for me to see Brazil lost by their own goal. That Fernandinho own goal cost Brazil this WC semi-finals, basically.

The goal that Brazil score in the second half could have been an EQUALIZER if it weren't for Fernandinho in the begining.

In all fairness, I'm sure Fernandinho doesn't want to be like this, he probably beat himself up the hardest right now. He was trying his best, aim at the ball and it hit his shoulder and went right in the net. But still.

You know what, I would have been more happy if it end at 2-0, at least I know Belgium goal that win us was the goal they got on their OWN, instead 2-1, rely on Brazil's own goal to win.

This really sucks. I lost interest in the remaining of the WC, I don't care who lift the WC anymore. This sucks.

So weaken African countries ability to compete by taking all their players ?? Let alone the brain drain that happens with immigration. This post Is so cringe especially since the country with a homegenous population of 3.7 out played them lol.

Not sure why soccer becomes a talking point for this argument. Italy had done just fine in the not too distant past. It's not like Balotelli has paid dividends. The French speaking nations in Euro have been benefiting because most of the African countries speak French as well as a first or second language.

    Agreed.
It's really the only arguement the pro mass immigration people have. Food and sports. And why shame Italy wtf did they do ? lol they've taken lots of immigrants and a pretty significant number of migrants. And not throwing shade at France but that team is pretty much practically just from Paris. I'm not seeing how France identifys with the team but my theory on pavard and giroud starting go on that theory.
