Former Liverpool and Juventus player Mohamed Sissoko has joined Kitchee. He will show up in the Kitchee new season press conference next week.

If we can beat both Chinese Taipei and Laos then we have a very good chance of making it to the last 16. But last 16 is not enough, I want us to go one better and make it to the last 8.
I could definitely see them get a result against Laos and Chinese Taipei although I'm not sure about Indonesia. Either ways, I wonder what would be their starting line-up XI will look like?
Mr. Right returns to Hong Kong to sign with Southern. It is understood that Southern were seeking foreigners who had prior experience in Hong Kong so as to alleviate concerns regarding their adaptability to Hong Kong. The club are also the first to announce all six of their foreigners at a time when other clubs are still negotiating.
Kitchee announced their new squad for 2018-19 HKPL season. Sissoko, Josip Tadic, Ju Ying-zhi and Yuto Nakamura are the new recruits. Alex Akande, Sandro, Lam Zhi-Gin, Lo Kwan-Yee and Lam Kar-Wai have left the club. Kitchee will play Buriram United and Becamax Binh Doung in August in two ticketed pre-season friendlies. Kitchee aim to get through ACL qualifying and join ACL group stage again. Good luck to them.
In addition, Former Brazil U17 international and Barcelona B player, Robert Goncalves Santos is on trial with Kitchee during pre-season. Other news: KC Southern unveiled their new logo design. Australian coach Graham Harvey unveiled as the new coach for Eastern Long Lions. Former HK Pegasus striker, Jordan Lam Lok-Kan and several other players join Dreams FC.
The crest is better but they wasted an opportunity to design a more unique kit. What is the point of unveiling a red and blue crest if you're just going to wear an all red primary kit? They should've gone with a red and blue striped top with blue shorts and red or blue socks. Could've made themselves stand out amongst Hong Kong kit designs instead of being yet another red team. Should've signed the coach before they started signing new players. Good for Jordan. He needs to be a club where he can play consistently.
22 year old Mark Tan Chun-Lok has signed with CSL club Guangzhou R&F for 3.5 years. He joined them for training in Los Angeles and must have made enough of a good impression to earn the opportunity. Apple Daily reports that Guangzhou R&F will release him for Hong Kong U23's Asian Games duty.
Lee Man signed Crescendo van Berkel, a Dutch player. Macau striker Leong Ka-Hang has also joined Lee Man from HK Pegasus.
Yuen Long FC signed 5 players, including Chan Pak-Hang who was involved in the HK Pegasus match fixing scandal but was not guilty. Coach Kwok Ka-Lok said he wanted to give Chan a chance. Caleb (of Nigeria) has joined from First Division club Wong Tai Sin. He will get his HKSAR passport in the middle of the season. Two of the newly recruited foreigners are Jean Moser and Cleiton Velasques, both are from Brazil.
With the signing of van Berkel as well as Fran Gonzalez and with Lee Man's stated goal of playing out of the back, I wonder if Leung Nok Hang will still sign with Lee Man. They have obviously signed two foreign centre backs because of their ability to pass the ball which also happens to be a skill set that Leung lacks. He was rumoured to have joined Lee Man earlier in the summer but then was reported to have gone on trial with Dalian Yifang. If he isn't signed by Dalian, Lee Man doesn't seem to be a fit as he'd struggle for minutes.
Lee Man began pre-season training yesterday. All the players attended except the four who are with HK U23 in Thailand.
Thailand Pre-Olympic team beat Hong Kong U23 1-0 with a goal in injury added time. HK coach Kwok Ka-Lok is satisfied with the performance.
Dreams FC begin their pre-season training today. There are a lot of new faces at the club but coach Leung Chi-Wing wants to win all their home matches at Tsing Yi Sports Ground this season.
Apparently Harvey was only hired as an assistant coach, not head coach. Instead the head coach of Eastern will be Chan Yuen Ting who is returning to the role after one year as Szeto's assistant.
Eastern Longlions will feature 9 new players. They still have a foreigner quota and they are looking for a midfielder. They will have their home matches at Hong Kong Stadium in 2018-19, as they finished behind HK Pegasus last season. HK Pegasus will play their home matches in Mong Kok Stadium. Honestly, unless they give more thought about in season training and player conditioning, otherwise I don't see them doing anything much about Kitchee's dominance. Wholesale player changes is not the answer.
