The only good thing he ever did as the NT coach was Copa America 2007. Everything else he failed (Gold Cup 2007 and the 2008 Pre-Olympic tourney)
He won the back-to-back seasons in 2004 with Pumas. That is what I’m referring to. That’s really the only thing that got him the job after Lavolpe.

Nothing against piojo but I don't think he should even be considered. May opinion may change if he wins silverware this year.
He'll never come back....would he want to? Of course, but the federation would never bring him back after the fiasco of the gold cup. I'm a fan of Piojo but I don't think it would be a good idea to bring him back. Give Vuce the entire cycle Bielsa, Lippi, Pep, Sir Alex, Mourinho, Zidane, mis huevos....get all those names out your minds. They'll never come.here.
