We're probably gonna fall a few places if some of the group winners fail to perform, but top ten would put us on par with 2014.

I’m kinda at a low sports wise. Mex is bumped outta the WC and my hometown teams are no longer playoff threats.

Moving forward, we really need to emphasize getting players competing at the highest levels. I know, even with a lot of Euro based players, we got knocked at the 16, but the point is to keep the list growing. We want to have a Brazil/France problem in having so many worthy names, some players will be left off.

I don’t blame Osorio in total, but, for some reason, this team had one too many mind fks under him. For the love I gave him for the Germany game prep, I must say at the end of the day, the old demons came back to haunt us.

I’m proud of this team, especially with how low my hopes were. I’m definitely going to miss the old Vela, Gio, Jona, Chich as time moves on. Yet, we gotta plan for the future and it starts at the end of July.

    Arriba y adelante

This hurts more than holland and both argentina games somehow. I thought they would show up at the 2nd half. No fight at all.

This hurts because we lost an accessible path to make a deep run, before anyone comes at me "accessible" does not mean easy. We would have needed to get past Brazil and Belgium as opposed to a Switzerland and Croatia to reach semis and to be quite blunt we don't have the bench or players to get through both of them.

We started off well this tournament but then hit a wall. Honestly, I was way more disappointed last time around. I got my criticisms about Osorio mainly his lack of a DMid and calling up players like Gio and Oribe. We could have used an extra defender.

2002 was the absolute worst for me. 2006 was heart breaking but understandable. 2014 NO ERA UN ******** PENAL.

This time wasn't as bad... como que ya me estoy acostumbrando

This quote+JDS liking that Rafa tweet tells me that this group wasn't as united as we thought they were.

I doubt it and there is nothing there that really screams like he is going to retire from the national team. Honestly, it sounds like he needs time to decompress. The guy is a lock starter for the national team. I would be cool with him not being called up until the Gold Cup next year. He has given it all for the team two tournaments in a row.

Kid, you still have a lot to endure. 1994 and 1998 were truly the most heartbreaking.

98 deserved more with the garra they showed. Fvcking referee didn't have the balls to show a red to the guy that fouled Cabrito Arellano.
