Aja -- Steely Dan (1977). Not sure why I felt like listening to this, but a couple of tunes popped into my head walking to work this morning. There was an FM station in the quad cities that played the hell out of this when it came out, junior year of high school.
There's a doc about the making of Aja on Netflix that's actually kind of interesting. Basically they would get all the best studio musicians in town to record a song and then edit them all together after the fact. Like, one measure from one bassist and the next measure from another.
