If we can't score two goals against Australia, we're not going to score two against France.

    1-1, if we're lucky.

A draw suits both teams. My prediction is that if the scores are tied any time in the last 30 minutes there wont be a lot of adventurous football played after that.

We want to go easy on our Danish brothers and cruise to next round with a draw. The other teams can have fun. :D

Fun fact ... France have won their two European Championships and the World Cup 98, all 3 times beating Denmark in the Group stage and Denmark became European Champions in 1992 after beating France in the Group Stage ...

However, the Cup winning streak above was finally broken in 2002 :

So apparently there may be upto 6 changes in the line up according to reports.. while remaining in a 4-4-2

    Varane, kante, Hernandez, Giroud, Griezman

how do you feel this will impact Frances chances on winning the group?

Hopefully the bench players want to prove something and force their way into the starting lineup, and win 3-0. ;)

I think we can maintain a draw (0-0 or 1-1). Our chances to score goal will decrease a lot without both Giroud and Griezmann.

Sorry, i did not complete my original post.

The players i listed according to reports will retain their places in the line up. Both Giroud and Griezmann will start, along with Varane and Kante.

There will surely be a lack of urgency to win this match from both teams ...

True. And I am - as you probably are to - quite certain that the match with be played on fair terms. There will be no collusion. This is as sure as none of these mediocre sides will win The World Cup.

Is this just a matter of rest, or giving more guys world cup caps, or is there an injury we should be aware of?

I still expect a draw or a narrow win.
