    Coaches
So far only five teams have confirmed coaches for the Apertura 2018: Alianza (Jorge Rodriguez), Audaz (Carlos Romero), Isidro Metapan (Agustin Castillo), Jocoro (Emiliano Barrera), and Municipal Limeno (Victor Coreas).

FAS have yet to confirm the continuation of christian Alvarez as coach, Aguila have failed to respond whether they will be hiring new coach or continuing with Marvin Benitez, Pasaquina have confirmed they will be looking for a foreign coach, Santa Tecla stated they have narrowed their coaching selection to three candidates Eduardo Lara and two Mexican coaches with junior and first division club experience, Chalatenango have failed to confirm yet that argentinian Angel Piazzi though it rumored to be confirmed this week, and Sonsonate failed to confirm Juan Ramon Sanchez,
    External Links: https://www.laprensagrafica.com/dep...nico-para-el-Clausura-2018-20180608-0034.html

    Stadium:
Well due to new stadium rules , some clubs will be playing in different stadium.
Pasaquina will look to play in Marcelino Imbers in La Union as failure of fans to come to their home stadium has forced them to play elsewhere, FAS will be playing Estadio Cuscutlan as Estadio Oscar Quiteno will be renovated, and Firpo have yet to confirm where they are playing as they cannot afford to make the changes necessary.

    Financial status
Sonsonate, Pasaquina, Firpo and Aguila have been struggling financialy, Pasaquina were close to selling their license, while Firpo have not ruled out selling their license to ATletico Marte, Modesto Torres of Firpo has failed to encourage sponsors to join the club and has stalled with selling the club.

The carousel of coaches has begun, big surprise so many of the coaches are familiar to the primera division. Serially I have seen more diversity at a hillbilly wedding.
    Anyway here's the update:

Jocoro despite being promoted by Ruben Alonso, who I hardly criticise because the man has had success wherever he goes, was replaced by Argentinian Emiliano Barrera, who coached Municipal Limeno before being sacked by them. However he resigned two days later and they have now appointed *sigh* Nelson Ancheta as their coach.

Pasaquina stated they were hiring a foreign coach, which got me excited as they have previously brought Paraguayan Hugo Olevar to the primera division. However they announced their foreign coach as *sigh* Brazilian Eraldo Correira.
    External links: https://www.elgrafico.com/futbol/Pa...reia-como-nuevo-entrenador-20180612-0013.html

Sonsonate removed Juan Ramon Sanchez, despite the fact that not only did he save Sonsonate from relegation but qualified them to the finals, to appoint *sigh* Juan Ramon Paredes.
    External Links: https://www.elgrafico.com/futbol/Ju...o-entrenador-del-Sonsonate-20180612-0007.html

Santa Tecla, FAS, Firpo and Aguila yet to announce what they are going to do about their coaches.

FAS have signed Panamanian Armando Polo

Chalatenango have confirmed Angel Piazzi as their coach and signed four Argentinians players.

Municipal Limeno have started the process of remodelling the stadium to meet accreditation needs
    External Links: https://www.elsalvador.com/deportes/futbol/493393/trabajan-en-el-estadio-ramon-flores-berrios/

So Chaletenango, Jocoro , FAS, Aguila, Santa Tecla and Sonsonate have all made their intention to remodel their stadium to make them suitable to play in the primera division.
Mssive remodelling will be done at FAS which means they will be playing in Estadio Cuscatlan,

Meanwhile Luis Angel Firpo are in massive financial trouble, they are struggling to pay the remaining wages, Jorge Calles is the only coaching staff left, so he might be coaching them for the season.ddd
Meanwhile they cannot afford to make the changes to the stadium, so they are looking to play at Achuapan, who have offered to let them play their for free.

Two Major rumours have been circulating about Aguila, the first one is that the Arieta will be selling the club, the second rumour is that Brazilian Eder Bastos will be coaching the club, he has been mostly an assistant coach to several clubs and the brazilian under 20 side.

So this could be problemsome for Firpo, Modesto Torres is such a bad owner I cannot believe he refused to sell Firpo despite all the offers and the financial problem the club is going through.

Appranetly he doesn't have accreditation to coach for AFES, even though he has A grade coaching license from USA, It been a massive scandal, since no one had pick it up for 3 years (Primera division, FESFUT or Alianza).

I believe FESFUT knew but choose to ignore it. I mean how else would he have been allowed to coach the NT for those games back in 2015, also it would have been brought up again prior to him accepting the job just a few months ago. I look at it this way, this is FESFUT getting back at him for turning down the job not even 48 hours after accepting. It look even more believable since they waited a week before the season started to come out with the news.

My question is how do other foreign coaches get accredited if el Zarco’s license is invalid? Also like grimm said there is zero chance fesfut didn’t know about his license before this.

Well according to this article, although he provided documents back in 2013, that collaborated his accreditation, FESFIT stated he had to ''renew'' a new license and have to provide the documents.
FESFUT stated that were following the process that denied Efrain Burgos the opportunity to coach Dragon back in 2017.
Although the head of AEFES Douglas Vidal Jiminez stated that the case were completely different and shouldn't have set a precedent.
    External links: https://www.elsalvador.com/deportes...iene-en-regla-sus-documentos-como-entrenador/

See its tough to say I think its a combination of both incompetency by FESFUT to follow through with rules and pettiness if theur behalf,

All did except for Santa Tecla and Alianza, he got huge votes from seguda division.
To be honest Ernesto Allwood wasn't a great candidtate either, right now we have seen his slow response to club defaulting on players wages, and the fact the elague is playing qwith balls provided by the Costa Rican federation due to Allwood failing to renew contract with the previous ball manufacture and left the new management minimal time to do anything
