So it's official. Claveri is taking over the the senior team, David Gardiner the u-20, & Tono Garcia the u-17 ( He's been working with the preolimpica but had a bunch of u-20 & u-17 players) I honestly have mixed feelings about it. This is turning into "el club de amigos de Plata & Claveri". Don't get me wrong, I've been Claveri's biggest fan in this forum even during the Sopegno era but i think hes having too much influence. I like the way Gardiner talks about socce but hes only getting the u-20 because hes Claveri's friend and former assistant. This should be a meritocracy, and there are far more deserving coaches than Gardiner.

Matosas did very well with Leon and even won a CONCACAF with America. Attacking coach but Idk if he can replicate it with a NT. I always thought you guys would get the Motagua coach, Diego Vasquez I think he's called. He made Motagua play decent from what i saw in their games against Tijuana

There's finally a call-up, and I like it for the most part. There's no Antigua or Xelaju players as was agreed between the clubs and Claveri. I'm not too fond about the GK's though. Motta & even Tatuaca are fine, but I felt it was the time to call Hagen. Have no idea who Lobos is. As for the rest, I'm surprised Cuilapa didn't make the cut. I'm happy for Cabrera, Soto, Marquez, Betancourt, Alvarez & Vargas. They've done more than enough to be in the squad. Finally, let's see if Rosales can justify his call up even though he's now in the 2nd division. We don't have many players with his profile. This would be my lineup
