I can accept this explanation and the solution.

He wasn't pressed to join us so we should never ever be pressed to get him. Let him enjoy his new contract and Manchester.

Missing out on DDG ended up being a blessing.

I have a feeling this Lunin kid will take over from Navas and become the best goalkeeper in Madrid history. Yes Im basing this on literally 5 minutes of youtube video and a feeling. I like to dream big.

He hasn't signed for us yet according to his father, does not want to be on the bench. Marca jumped the gun. But yeah looks like a good prospect.

El Confidencial said the same. Nacho will be 3rd CB, Vallejo 4th. Carva/Odriozola and Marcelo/Theo as FBs.

Marca says Thiago is being considered if Kova forces his way out. Club wants to keep Kova as of now. Bayern looking to sell Thiago for around 70 ME. Lope rates him highly.

Again, seems like they copied EC article which mentioned Vallejo will be 4th CB with Odriozola as RB and we might go for Thiago depending on the departures of Kova, Dani Ceballos and Llorente.

Show me where I claimed he wanted to be in Madrid so badly.

I can show you where you called him the ultimate coward.

    I’ll be waiting...

So let me get this straight... now you want me to find specific lines when your entire defense was DDG wanting to be in Madrid and doing everything to be there?

    Lol

So glad his ass will never put on a Madrid shirt.

I'd rather give Kova a raise and guarantee more playing, which he will probably get anyway since Modric is getting older, than sign a player Bayern doesn't want for 70M. Let's not forget the James deal.

He'd be a good signing for around 40M.

Bale situation is far from similar to Di Maria. Di Maria wanted a pay hike following an outstanding season. Perez did not meet his demand so he pushed for a move.

Bale simply wants an assurance from the coaching staff regarding his role going forward, money is a non-issue here. I would say Flo-Bale relationship is just as good as it gets, whereas Flo-Di Maria relationship was in a dumpster back then.

Hey guys, take it to PMs :D

Haven't followed him closely this year -- why is Bayern willing to part ways? I thought he was doing pretty well.

Any word on Hakimi? He’s out of a contract come July 1. Would hate to see him walk for nothing.

I think is only a rumor but if true it must be because they now got James and Goretzka

I don’t see why Thiago would trade Bayern’s bench for ours. Perhaps he follows Pep to city. Safe bet is on a return to Barca though, they can guarantee him a starting position in their midfield which needs to be rebuilt.

Thiago is only 27 and Modric 32.. Lopetegui may promise Thiago a main role once Modric starts declining.

Why is Thiago being sold by Bayern? And that too for just 70M. I don’t get it. He’s a good player.

    Meh to Thiago.

Didn't impress when Bayern have played Madrid last couple of times.

Wouldn't pay 70ME for someone to sit on the bench anyway, I'd rather keep Kova

Or we use the player in house in Kovacic who just turned 24 and won’t cost us 70m.

They’re crowded in midfield with James, Tolisso, Goretzka, Vidal, Rudy and now Javi Martinez back in the middle.

Thiago is a bit of a luxury at this point and with Thiago’s injury history, now is the time to sell

He is not world class yet as much as his fans want him to be.

You should quit while behind. Really.

You conceded publicly rebeling would have made no difference for De Gea as the transfer didn't collapse because a fee couldn't be agreed.
Everyone agrees that the sensible thing to do when the transfer window closed was to renew. He even inserted a release clause for us so we could come back for him.

You have nothing to base your label as "the ultimate coward" on, which was what I reacted to. The rest is just your usual huffing and puffing, twisting and turning. Those are the facts.

I don’t see how Thiago at 70m is that much of an upgrade coming off the bench over Kovacic who cost peanuts. We have other pressing needs in the squad.

But it’s more than possible Lopetegui may not even rate Kovacic, so we’ll see.
