Yes, but Sassuollo are asking for 35M for Politano, and SES would fetch a lot more money in the market than Perrotti. That is why I’m saying stocking cheap bench Italians seems more efficient than trying to buy first team worthy players.

That said, I think SES will stay, he had a good year and is happy at Roma.

I understand the idea. But to give up one of our most important players to a direct rival, it should be 40 million straight up. I don't know why we are being so charitable to Inter this summer. Santon has very little re-sale value. Inter have been trying to get rid of him for two summers now, and failed until now.

We are getting the money after the 30th, so I have a hard time seeing it being connected to Alisson. If we had to raise money before the 30th, and it was between Radja and Alisson I could understand. Whether Alisson is here next season doesn't matter with this deal. We could sell him in June 2019 and it still all counts the same.

I meant buy Politano back when we still had the option.

Inter bought Santon from Newcastle for 3.7 mil. Considering his play the last few years the best case scenario is he still worth 3.7

They paid Entella 1.8 for Zaniolo last summer, let's be extremely generous and say his value has doubled that's 3.6.

Best case scenario these two are worth 7.3 combined. We got a 24 mil, dead weight and a lottery ticket for Ninja.

Zaniolo is worth 10m, Santon 6m according to Di Marzio. I’m sure Sassuolo would love to have him(Zaniolo). He has a great year or and his value triples. See Politano.

He might be a piece of a next transfer. Lets say he's serious with Berardi for example and Sass said they want a full back.

Happens in all leagues I suppose and it can ultimately stunt the growth of the player.

The only way this deal would make any sense is if we are picking players to send Sassuolo's way for Berardi. We need a RW and he is an EDF favourite. He also needs a change of scenery. I really hope that's the case. Otherwise, as was already mentioned, this deal looks like charity for Inter.

Zaniolo (buy back option) + Santon and Defrel (outright) for Berardi.

Zaniolo (buy back option) + Gerson (loan) + Defrel (outright) for Berardi.

I guess there are numerous combinations you could speculate on. Maybe we don't have eyes on Berardi at all.

    Can but wait and see.

I hope not, Berardi is not good enough. Ziyech or bust.

Santon will be a last resort back up for the fullbacks, a third option. Florenzi/replacement + Karsdrop on the right, Kolarov and Pellegrini on the left, Santon is the 5th fullback, just in case one of our fullbacks with broken knees collapses again. No need to read too much into this.

I think we will need to see sales before anymore acquisitions after Pastore and Ninja deals, we are overstuffed with players.

7 attackers while we need 6, we will have to sell 2 attackers before signing new ones, main candidates are Defrel, Perrotti and SES.

In Midfield we are set, and will probably send out Gerson, maybe even Coric, that will leave us with 6 midfielders, 2 for each position.

Defence is probably our weakest line right now, especially the backups. We will have to see Juan, Florenzi and Peres being sold before we add more players.

We are looking for a winger. That's why we may go for Berardi. I don't think Ziyech plays on the wing. Ajax fans were saying last year that he only plays CM/AM. Our pursuit of Ziyech is over after Pastore, IMO.

Ziyech does play on the wing, he played there for years, he just didn’t at Ajax, he still plays on the wing for his NT.

We are looking for a playmaking winger, and those types can naturally play in midfield and on the wing, think Coutinho. Ziyech is a better Berardi than Berardi.

Does he? From what I watch in wC he mainly moves in the middle.

He plays on the wing but cuts inside, thats what EDF is looking for. Check his heat maps, he is mostly playing on the wings.

Didn't Monchi say we need to capitalize more from set pieces? The number of goals scored for instance from corners, was ridiculously low compared to average height/heading ability of the team. Moreover, we have both Cristante and Karsdorp ready to add their contribution.

So we are certainly looking for a specialist, and Forsberg could fit to mold. He plays on both wings, and with Perotti and presumably Defrel leaving Kluivert, SES, Ünder are certainly not enough, granted that Ziyech costs too much.

Ninja’s sale will bring the most plusvalenza in Roma’s history, around 35M.

They are talking about having two players for every position. Add to that a concern over Pastore's health and I can certainly see us signing another Attacking mid. That could be Ziyech or Fernandes or someone else. We can't just have one player, Coric is not going to help out this season.

There would definitely be a * next to this sale with the funny FFP games related to 16M purchase in players. maybe this is Inter getting back at Roma for fleecing them with Dodo. I literally LOL everytime I see his name.

Sorry to see Ninja go because he is one of my favorite players. I wish him success just not against us. Forza Radja!

But Monchi is always 5 moves ahead. Don't be closed minded when it comes to what he might be up to ;)
