D because it's more evenly balanced. Costa Rica is only getting one point at most.

Maybe D, not sure about F. I’ll wait to see Sweden/Korea tomorrow.

As for D, I guess I don’t rate Iceland and Nigeria as highly as others. More than happy to be wrong.

Fox’s half time coverage sucks. Way too many commercials, and the analysis lasts like 2 minutes.

The show a lot more after the game but it doesn't excuse the poor halftime coverage.

I think my bracket is already destroyed, but the teams I'm rooting for are doing great:

Scandinavia is undefeated so far with results against Argentina, Peru and South Korea. Concacaf not doing quite as well with the big Mexican win versus Germany, but the Costa Rican loss to Serbia and Panama currently losing to Belgium. A Colombia win tomorrow, I'll be pretty happy with the results so far.

Agreed, but, on the other hand, their "analysis" sucks, so 2 minutes is enough!

OK so many results have killed my group stage poll...Brazil tying? Peru losing...Croatia winning? Germany losing? Jeez...

Anyway, personally I have no money on (but wish I did) Belgium winning the whole shebang. Now I didn't see the Brazil game so I don't know how they looked but Belgium looked fantastic. Easily the most creative attacking side I have seen so far. Sure the Spain v. Portugal game is one for the history books but neither of those teams looked as dangerous as Belgium just did and all of Belgiums goals were team goals, not just an individual talent (like say CR7). Spain seems like a shadow of their former glory and Germany looked toothless and disorganized and disinterested. I've not seen that in a long time. One more nod to Belgium is that this was the same Panamanian "park the bus defense first" team that frustrated the USA and Mexico in qualifying. I mean, a more defensive side you are hard pressed to find in this tournament and Belgium just eviscerated them. Time will tell what will happen when Belgium plays an attacking side because Panama was bunkered all the way.

I have Belgium in the Final.
They are one of the two or three most talented teams in the World Cup.

The big damage is Germany. It is difficult for them to win the group, losing to Mexico. I expect a second place finish for them...unless Mexico implodes, which is not likely.

Maybe Mrs. Osorio wants to move to Spain TODAY, so he accepts the vacant Spanish job today and leaves Mexico.

I have Belgium over Russia in semis to meet Germany over Brazil with Belgium winning in my pool. But am rooting for Poland and some upsets. I will feel better if Portugal does not get past round of 16.

No it should have been 7-0 by the time they actually scored in the 8th minute or whatever it was! Terrible...

Harry Kane left unmarked at the left post and heads it in during the 91st minute. Nice timing.

Chicago Fire ([emoji28]) Japanese midfielder K. Honda has just been subbed in to try to break the deadlock with Colombia.

Chicago Fire legend Quintero with Colombia’s goal.

Currently 2-1, Japan. Colombia should be ashamed of their diving. The ref should stop encouraging it. I hope Japan can win this.

With Bastian, Pastore, Quintero and Honda, the Fire have a pretty good midfield heading into the World Cup. Add in International legend Fernando Torres and the Fire attack is complete.

Sorry, Alan Gordon, you do not make the game day 18.

Pol/Sen could be huge. My heart says Poland but my brain says draw.

Speaking of Poland, anyone remember the 2006 WC match against Germany? That was one of the best 0-0 draws I've ever witnessed.
