Osorio isn't playing against Germany. Osorio is playing against Osorio in some abstract chess match.

I gots a feeling Osorio gonna lose. Hope I'm wrong.

You gotta beat the best in order to move forward. This isn’t David vs Goliath. We aren’t Saudi Arabia. We need to start holding ourselves to a higher standard. It’s about time Mexico makes a statement. It’s happening on Sunday.

Blocking out all the noise till then. Ya sissies.

I have always been shocked by the amount of Mexicans that are surprised when fans of other countries hold the Mexican team in high regard.

We ALWAYS play up to the level of our opponents. We have our best players in the squad. IMO Germany will give us either too much respect or not enough respect which we will then capitalize on. It's going to be the best fathers day gift ever when we win.

Save for Gallardo, that 11 looks solid.

Regardless of quality of players, it was winnable. Osorio was suspended for all copa oro games, but he was making decisions.

These article show that he was involved, regardless of suspension.
    Article 1.
    Article 2.

En fin, his results and decisions speak for themselves. If he doesn't rotate too much, who knows.

    Hope is all we got.

@EL PAPICHULO BAMF see, having 4 attackers isn't so fifaesque. THis is my formation exactly, and as for lineup i was off two & 1/2 players.

I'd put Layun instead of Alvarez.

    • It's a super offensive line up. Vela in his current natural #10 position. +Corona, +Lozano, WOW. Epic.
    • If osorio plays with this up top, the wingers better track back and run a lot more.
    • I prefer ayala over gallardo. Move Moreno to the left.
    • I don't think Osorio will only start with 4 tall players vs Germany: Alvarez, Moreno, Salcedo Herrera. I don't believe this will be the line up.

A CB for LB; a CF for RW; a pitufo for LW; a disappoint for enganche; best player on bench.

    Good times.

Gio aquino can't start. Marquez can't either or play this game period. Jimenez shouldn't be out wide. He should start. Dead leg sub him out for chicharito.

Ayala is a CB dude. Crazy thing is that we only have two sideBacks nato: Layun and Gallardo. Even if Gallardo started as winger/volate, winger is a close step to being a side Back. Check Jordi Alba or any Chivas winger/backs.

Marquez is a waste of position on this team. When did this culture start, anyhow? Are we always supposed to take a convalescent to the world cup?

    Marquez(18'), Salcido(14'), Bofo(10'), Temoc(10"), Perez(10'), Suarez(06'), Campos(02')

IMO Perez is the only player who never should have gone to the world cup, much less played. He took starts that should have gone to Memo who was 10 times better than him. In 14 we had no one better than Salcido and no defensive Mid fielders, same as today which is partly why Marquez is going. Bofo had a skill set where if he wanted to (which was rare) he could take over a game all by himself. You don't leave that kind of talent at home. Temoc was a proven goal scorer at a time when we had little to nothing and Suarez is one of the all time best Defenders we've ever had. We're not like Spain, Germany, England, Brazil, France, Argentina or Uruguay where we have so much talent we can leave players at home. Maybe in like 10 years but not now.
