Suddenly how little I was excited for Pumas moves in the draft go to shit when I see they send Van Rankin to Chivas but not get Mayorga, who apparently was available.

Now talking about the refuerzos, i would have rather play with youngsters from the cantera since there is no descenso anymore than to bring bench players from other teams. Be careful what you wish for, my friend. Turning chivas into a corporate logo is something you really have to think through instead of screaming with emotion and no logic and foresight. I can just picture the coorporate chivas--with an argentinian and a brazilian forward heading our great attack. You know what they say: money talks and bs walks.

Even though he may be a little more special than most, look what he did in two and a half years. Again, this is just 'one' Argie coach. Anyone watch the press conference with Almeyda? I’ll admit, I almost got a little teary eyed. He’s got nothing but love for the team & fans and says he would love to come back to the club one day. He even said how he wishes to be rich so he can buy the team A reporter asked Almeyda to confirm a rumor if he paid the players out of his own pocket pending wages. Almeyda confirmed that after the team won the Super Copa in 2016, the club didn’t have sufficient enough money to give players their prize money so Almeyda actually put in some of his own money to pay the players. Further showing what an all around great guy he is He will be missed. Best of luck wherever he goes and hopefully we see him back with Chivas in the future and under new ownership/management
If we’re taking the L so he can coach the national team then I will be okay. Are we getting Vucitech?
